Summary
We are looking for a motivated Odoo Developer to design, develop, and maintain ERP solutions on both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions. The ideal candidate will have strong Python skills, practical experience with the Odoo framework, and the ability to deliver scalable, customized modules that align with business requirements. Compensation will be offered as a 25% to 50% hike on the candidate’s last drawn salary, based on experience and skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP modules for both Community and Enterprise editions.
- Create new custom modules and enhance existing ones to extend system functionality.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code following Odoo development standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable ERP solutions.
- Design and implement integrations between Odoo and third-party systems such as APIs, payment gateways, CRM tools, and other business applications.
- Optimize database queries and improve system performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Odoo development (Community and/or Enterprise editions).
- Strong proficiency in Python and understanding of the Odoo framework.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database design concepts.
- Knowledge of Odoo ORM, QWeb, XML, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience developing and customizing Odoo modules.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Git or other version control systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
- Exposure to Odoo.sh or cloud deployment environments.
- Basic understanding of business processes such as Accounting, Sales, Inventory, or HR in ERP systems.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Roles and Responsibility:
· Develop web applications in Node (JavaScript/Typescript),
· Design and develop backend APIs for complex custom business applications as per requirement
· Design and develop database schema, queries, stored procedures
· Develop frontend SPA using AngularJS/Angular 2+, API integration, Data binding
· Collaboration with developer team, Project managers to ideate software solutions
· Essential communication skills for customer conference calls and meetings
· Interact with clients and other stakeholders to understand their requirements/problems, provide daily updates, plan and module delivery
· Test software to ensure quality and efficiency
· Responsible to troubleshoot bugs and fix them as well as maintain/enhance existing projects
· Write technical documentation
· Working with Agile and Scrum methodologies
· Extensive knowledge of database performance optimization strategies, indexing, sharing
· Develop applications using TDD (Test Driven Development), Unit testing, Integration testing, Jasmine/Mocha framework
· Design HLD/LLD architecture diagrams, Infrastructure diagrams, ER Diagrams

Qualifications and Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP, Shopify, Magento.
- Good knowledge of any PHP framework ( CodeIgniter and CakePHP )
- Hands-on experience one PHP framework
- Good analytical & communication skills.
- Must be proficient in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, Javascript, AJAX, XML
- Should have excellent written communication skills (English)
- Must have the capacity to work independently and also as a part of a team
- Must have dedication and commitment towards work.

Role Description:

- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets in your previous roles.
- You have a strong experience within consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships.
