We are looking for an Academic Counsellor to join our administrative staff. The successful candidate will divide his or her time equally between administrative tasks and providing students with guidance and support. They should be able to take responsibility for nurturing,
acquiring, growing, and strengthening higher education customers across the world. Most importantly to believe in their consultative approach, identifying the needs of the customers and being able to marry off with the product offering/s.
Job Responsibility:
● Build a relationship with the learners who contact Masters’ Union, and be their guiding hand and familiarise them with the product, our vision, and the big picture.
● Understand learners' career needs and guide them with relevant information.
● Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls for follow-ups. Handle learner interactions and queries. Fix appointments and demo sessions on a daily basis.
● Provide timely and accurate responses to learners/parents.
Knowledge of CPAAS,A2P, MNO, Monetization, Network Protection, Firewall, Anti-fraud mitigation
Creating custom decks and delivering product presentations to customers and leads'
Lead qualification with understanding customer requirements and consulting the right product fit
Documentation - technical & Commercial proposals, one pagers, concept papers, questionnaire
Disruptive business modelling with merger of 2-3 products and services
Liaise with vendor for coordinating technical demos with customers
Educating sales with new GTS products with pitch decks, opportunity identification & sizing
Lead follow-up with sales and tracking progress
Bid management
Product strategy planning with sales for closure
Liaise with Legal and finance teams for MoU, Contracts, etc..
Research
Exploration of new initiatives in ICT space
New product development based on the market insights shared by sales teams
Managing POC to meet success criteria
Roles and responsibilities:
- This role is a mix of email marketing and sales.
- Requires hands-on experience in tools like PipeDrive, Hubspot, Zoho, MailChimp, etc.
- The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and sending out email campaigns to nurture and flush out warm leads.
- A highly analytical mindset is required for the candidate to be able to critically analyze the performance of email outbounds and be able to make suggestions for the next outbound.
- Candidates will have to own the existing email database and build on it further with sophisticated tools.
- Candidates must learn and practice how to quickly overcome objections, closing techniques, and persuasive sales psychology
- Communicating with clients, making outbound calls to potential clients, and following up on leads.
- Spending approximately 12-15 hours per week working with our sales team on a consistent, pre-determined schedule. Punctuality and dedication are extremely important.
- Prior up-to-date knowledge about the latest trends and best practices in online marketing (email and social media).
- Averaging 8+ outbound phone calls per hour.
- Sending appointment reminder emails to qualified leads.
- Sending email campaigns to nurture and flush-out warm leads.
- Learn and practice how to quickly overcome objections, closing techniques, and persuasive sales psychology.
- Bringing an attitude of hustle every day.
- Working to find solutions to complex problems quickly and competently.
- Constructing detailed processes for organizing and analyzing data.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
