Technical Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer with 1-4 years of experience to join in Pune. The ideal candidate will be proficient in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and C#, with a strong understanding of modern software development principles and architectural patterns. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable desktop applications, contributing to the full software development lifecycle within an agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality desktop applications using WPF, XAML, and C#.
• Implement and maintain application logic following established architectural patterns such as MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) and MVC (Model-View-Controller).
• Utilize threading concepts effectively to ensure responsive and performant user interfaces.
• Work with various database technologies to store and retrieve application data efficiently.
• Integrate with internal and external APIs to extend application functionality.
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in all development activities.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions and maintaining application stability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to WPF and desktop application development.

Required Technical Skill Set:

• Must-Have Experience:
• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and XAML: Demonstrated expertise in building complex and user-friendly desktop applications.
• C#: Strong proficiency in C# programming language, including .NET Framework or .NET Core.
• Threading Concepts: Solid understanding and practical experience with multi-threading and asynchronous programming to create responsive applications.
• Database: Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
• API Integration: Experience consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs.
• MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel): In-depth understanding and practical application of the MVVM architectural pattern.
• MVC (Model-View-Controller): Familiarity with the MVC architectural pattern.
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Excellent grasp of OOP principles (Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction) and design patterns.
• Good to Have Experience:
• Windows Canvas / User Document: Experience with advanced UI elements and document handling in WPF.
• Web Programming (ASP.NET): Basic understanding or experience with ASP.NET for potential full-stack awareness.
• Task Management: Experience with task management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Fast-paced Team Environment: Proven ability to thrive and deliver in a dynamic and fast-paced team setting.
• Agile Methodology / SDLC: Practical experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in WPF desktop application development.

• Software Engineering
  • Design and develop highly scalable, available, reliable, secure and fault tolerant systems with minimal guidance for a market leader in the logistics industry
  • Partner with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements and spread design philosophy, goals and improve the code quality across the team
  • Research new technologies and tools that enable building the next generation of our services
  • Provide technology leadership to the team and foster engineering excellence
• Product Delivery
  • Partner with product managers to define and execute on the feature roadmap
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design
  • Coordinate with various cross functional teams on planning and execution
  • Maintaining automated build / test / deployment environments

• Software Engineering
  • Should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying applications on Java, Ruby, Kotlin, Python, Node or Go for large scale applications
  • Deep knowledge of one of the programming languages they have experience in
  • Proficient in OOP and Design Patterns, experience with functional programming would be a plus
  • Data modelling experience in Relational Databases
  • Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services
• Product Delivery
  • Ability to scope, review and refine user stories for technical completeness and to alleviate dependency
  • Well versed in working with agile methodologies which includes phases such as design, development, code review, testing and release management
  • Ability to have worked in a CI/CD environment, with hands on experience with Git or any similar source code management tools
• Product Maintenance

• Experience troubleshooting server performance issues such as memory tuning, GC tuning, resource leaks
• Continuously refactor applications to ensure high quality design

That’s the idea behind DevDarshan.We’ve built a community of devotees from multiple Countries, through our Mobile Application that connects Temples and Devotees, have successfully raised seed investment and also started to generate revenue for the temples and Priests associated with us. Right now we are looking to grow our team and build new exciting features for devotees all around the world.

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual to help design our backend Systems to support both the Mobile App and WebApp

Requirements: 

• Experience in NodeJS, Typescript, ExpressJS AWS EC2. You have built backend REST API’s
• Expert in System Design and Software Architecture Processes, How different components interact with each other in scale
• Experience with DevOps, Docker, AWS, Google Cloud.
• Experience in Managing Development Teams, complete delivery lifecycle
• Good understanding and experience of NoSQL and SQL Databases, which to be used when. 
• Experience with CI/CD Systems like Jenkins, Github Actions.
• Some Experience with Realtime Databases/Systems or Socket based applications would be preferred.
• Some Experience with building Algorithms, Social Apps is preferred. 
• Any experience with Handling Video Delivery like ffmpeg/HLS/WebRTC is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Requirements:       

·        Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science or Engineering.

·        Minimum 5 years of experience working as a senior–level Software Engineer

·        Excellent programming and debugging skills in RoR and Python

·        Experience in web development and automation

·        Experience developing on Windows and Linux systems 

Although not required, the following are a plus: 

·        Experience working with Build scripts, Shell scripts, Makefiles

·        Experience with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools

·        Knowledge of RESTful web services and docker

Skills:

Hands-on experience with modern Ruby on Rails practices and development. (1-2 years)

Experience with writing clean, maintainable and scalable code

Good awareness of the Ruby on Rails ecosystems and being in touch with the latest developments in this area

Experience in developing backend APIs/services, micro-service architecture.

Have a clear understanding of database technologies

Awareness/experience with testing methodologies like RSpec

A high-performance mindset to deliver good quality code and also an understanding of the product

Openness with working in a culture of inclusiveness and individual responsibility and experience with Agile methodologies.

Good communication skills – good knowledge of English, both written and oral

Good to have:

Working knowledge of react or other JS based frameworks.

Hands on experience with python, nodeJS, mongo db

Good knowledge and experience of working with backend systems; 

designing server-side architecture, including production maintenance experience are must-haves.

At least 1-2 years of experience in any programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Python and Node.js(Node.js preferred).

Understanding of micro-services oriented architecture.

Experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics

Experience in driving and delivering complex features/software modules from technical design to launch.

Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
