Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Developer with expertise in network automation, and application development. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining network automation solutions, as well as implementing and enhancing applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and secure network operations and deliver high-quality software solutions. The candidate should also possess good presentation and analytical skills to manage IT network operations and to ensure efficient operations delivery.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement network automation solutions:
· 7-9 years of experience in Architecture, design and engineering of automation for zero-touch-provisioning and network device configuration management.
· Drive automation at all stages of software development, release, and operations.
· Provide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation and integration plans on projects and assurance of network integrity.
· Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high and low-level diagrams.
· Participate in conversations with various teams to brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve network automation.
· Design and develop automation scripts, tools, and frameworks to automate network provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring tasks.
· Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to understand requirements and develop automation workflows that improve operational efficiency.
· Integrate network automation solutions with existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation.
· Conduct thorough testing of automation solutions to validate their effectiveness and reliability.
· Monitor and maintain the performance and stability of the network automation systems.
Design, develop, and enhance applications:
· Work closely with business stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements for application development projects.
Provide technical guidance and support:
· Assist in defining technical strategies, architecture, and roadmaps for network automation and application development.
· Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and team members, fostering their professional growth and knowledge in Devnet practices.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
· Proven work experience as a Developer, with a focus on network automation and application development. 5+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space
· Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, etc.), and security principles.
Experience developing and integrating applications Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
· Solid experience in network automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
· Knowledge of databases, SQL, and data modeling.
· Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems (Git, SVN), and Agile practices.
