JOB ROLE:

Technical lead will be responsible for technology development delivery and maintenance of small to medium size projects(end to end). Must have good technical and communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Providing technology leadership, vision, and passion to the product team.
• Working closely with the product management team and engineering team to transform customer needs into product engineering architecture and initiatives.
• Responsible for defining and implementing solid product engineering best practices and processes to guarantee results for product delivery.
• Take ownership and drive technology initiatives in the organization.
• Manage the product architecture design and reviews, review platform test automation, and DevOps Practises.
• Recruiting and mentoring a team of world-class developers.
• Provide the Delivery and Support teams with technical advice and support.

• Should have a strong technical background in product development and the complete software development life cycle.
• Coding skills are mandatory and we’re looking for someone who is technology agnostic and can jump in where needed. Our current tech stack scales across various technologies and platforms: JAVA, Ionic/Angular, IOS, Android, PHP and Python among others.

• The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 8-10 years in product development. 
• Last position as an technical owner of a product engineering team with at least 15 people.
• A Bachelor’s degree or better, preferably in Computer Engineering, from a reputed college/university.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• 15+ years of Hands-on technical application architecture experience and Application build/ modernization experience

• 15+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.

• Ability to travel to client locations as needed (25-50%)

• Extensive experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment

• Experience with designing and building applications using AWS services such as EC2, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS OpsWorks

• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability

• Hands-on programming skills in any of the following: Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, .NET or Scala

• Agile software development expert
• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)

• Hands-on familiarity with CloudFormation

• Experience with configuration management platforms (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible)

ROLE

With the recent Series B raise of $32 million, we are all geared up to scale our business globally. Naturally, the engineering team needs to rapidly improve the product, work on scale and performance, and build new features and products to capture new markets.

We are seeking seasoned leaders to grow our engineering teams, scale our development & release processes, and create world class products.

The role will involve building high-performance software engineering teams and delivering world-class software

Presenting plans, updates and risks to all stakeholders is a critical part of the role. 

Leaders must be hands-on when it comes to addressing customer issues, code quality, RCA / issue prevention and managing risks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in building software products and SaaS applications
• Highly energetic leader with experience of building high-performance engineering teams and delivering great software
• Exposure to managing scale and huge growth in software usage
• Worked with product design teams, customers and other stakeholders to create a well-defined product roadmap and deliver per plan
• Highly customer-focused with the ability to manage fast-paced release environment
• Strong knowledge of AWS from architecture and costs perspective.
• Exceptionally well-organized individual with great listening, communication and presentation skills

Experience- .NET, AWS

• 12+ years of experience in software development with least 3 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect
• Proven and demonstrable experience in creating scalable solutions
• Proven experience with leading large-scale builds, with multiple squads running at the same time
• Familiar with production Cloud / DevOps environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
• Good leadership and motivational skills

• Experience in modeling and graphic representation

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes; suggest improvements
• Create business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals; create and implement business visions and goals by solutioning new implementations/improvements
• Facilitate decision making on technology architecture, build versus buy strategies and vendor (keeping in mind the IT cost)
• Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues; problem solve on tech challenges faced
• Audit compliance with the Enterprise Architecture standards
• Ongoing publicity and communication of the Enterprise Architecture both within the IT community, and the business units
• Ongoing research and assessment of new analysis approaches for potential use within the Enterprise
• Mentor and Coach the technical team to effectively build solutions; organize training to improve employees' knowledge and skills for future organizational growth
• Thought partner with the CIO on people, process, and platform decision

• 6+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 2+ hands-on management experience.
• Experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications.
• Experience building and leading platforms is a must. Experience with SOA/Microservices with Node.js and Golang is a plus
• Retained, mentored and hired senior engineers and leaders with a track record of building productive engineering teams.
• Been actively involved in setting product strategy.
• Entrepreneurial drive and have hands-on experience in creating products which solve user’s problems

• Strong object oriented concepts. Experience in structure object oriented modelling with preferred expertise in using tools like Enterprise Architect or similar. Experience in working with TOGAF standards is preferred.
• Experience in architecting the technical scale and scope of high volume, scalable enterprise software solutions including logical and physical landscape requirements with specific attention to design, development, and deployment strategies
• Capability to adapt, learn and work with multiple technology platforms. 
• Knowledge in Application Security including Information security principles & realization, OWASP & PCI DSS Compliance ( Security Design & Technology Skills )
• In depth knowledge and experience in large scale database management, data modelling and database design in RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Experience in recommending and implementing DevOps tools for enterprise projects.
• Capability to evaluate tools, technologies and processes, including assessing their strategic benefit in the solution.
• Willingness to work hands-on with engineers to review, troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently.
