Scope of Responsibilities

Communicate with data providers to source appropriate data content and formats within required timelines.

Evaluate completeness and accuracy of input data, working closely with internal teams and hedge fund managers.

Reconcile input data with other data points, clear exceptions/rejects, and perform mapping/modeling of positions.

Collaborate closely with team members across locations, particularly Mumbai.

Report progress, metrics, and queue status to management.

Maintain relationships with fund administrators and hedge funds.

Support expansion of hedge fund coverage within the transparency business.

Handle ad-hoc analytical or operational requests as required.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to deadlines.

Effective problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Financial background with understanding of derivatives, global markets, investment instruments, and risk management.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering with expertise in Python, AWS, Spark, and Scala. This role is critical to our data infrastructure, ensuring that our data pipelines are robust, efficient, and scalable.

Required Skills:

• Python: Advanced proficiency with extensive experience in building data pipelines.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, and EMR.
• Spark: Proficient in using Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Scala: Working knowledge of Scala for Spark programming.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

● Design, plan, and execute 3–4 monthly webinars focused on industry trends, customer pain points, and director-level conversations. 

● Work cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and marketing teams to build strong narratives and event themes. 

● Own all logistics, such as the platform (GoToWebinar, Zoom Webinar, or Zoho Webinar), communication with registrations, reminders, speaker dry-runs, technical rehearsals, and live coordination. 

● Develop and manage content assets, including design creatives and presentation decks. 

● Drive engagement using polls, Q&As, offers, and post-event follow-ups via email or LinkedIn. 

● Track performance and share analytics: registration-to-attendance ratio, audience engagement, quality of leads, and contribution to pipeline. 

● Continuously improve based on feedback, benchmarks, and business objectives. 

Must have skills: 

● 3–5 years of experience managing webinars, virtual events, or enterprise-level workshops. A background in B2B or IT services is a plus. 

● Strong coordination, communication, and presentation skills—you'll regularly work with directors, technical experts, and external stakeholders. 

● A business mindset—you can connect the dots between webinar topics, lead generation, and customer interest. 

● Proficient in tools like Zoom/GoToWebinars, (or CRM/marketing automation platforms), and Google Slides/PowerPoint. 

● Comfortable planning, owning timelines, and making real-time decisions during live sessions. Good to have skills: 

● Experience in IT services or SaaS domain. 

● Experience with Quora/Reddit or guest post partnerships. 

● Exposure to content creation or visual storytelling. 

• 4+ years exp with solid backend/engineering experience.

Main tasks

• Supervision of the CI/CD process for the automated builds and deployments of web services and web applications as well as desktop tool in the cloud and container environment
• Responsibility of the operations part of a DevOps organization especially for development at LS telcom in the environment of container technology and orchestration, e.g. with Kubernetes
• Installation, operation and monitoring of web applications in cloud data centers for the purpose of development of the test as well as for the operation of an own productive cloud as LS service
• Implementation of installations of the LS system solution especially in the container context
• Introduction, maintenance and improvement of installation solutions for LS development in the desktop and server environment as well as in the cloud and with on-premise Kubernetes
• Maintenance of the system installation documentation and implementation of trainings

Execution of internal software tests and support of involved teams and stakeholders

• Hands on Experience with Azure DevOps.

Qualification profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics or comparable qualification
• Experience in software
• Installation and administration of Linux and Windows systems including network and firewalling aspects
• Experience with build and deployment automation with tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Argo or similar as well as system scripting (Bash, Power-Shell, etc.)
• Interest in operation and monitoring of applications in virtualized and containerized environments in cloud and on-premise
• Server environments, especially application, web-and database servers
• Knowledge in VMware/K3D/Rancer is an advantage
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English

Master’s Degree/PG in computer science or B.E/ B. Tech in Computer/Electronics or equivalent with minimum 2 years industrial/academic experience in UI/UX development, computational biology, MD simulations, PHP, MySQL, Bash scripting, Server admin. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, HTML, or PHP, and CSS. Experience in exploring libraries and frameworks (for example Bootstrap and J Query) and using GitHub, a version control system. Extensive knowledge of advancements and trends in web design. Exceptional ability to contribute creativity and innovation to web projects. Superb leadership, collaboration and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
