Team Manager

We’re looking for a strong QA Engineer with 5+ years hands-on experience in Python to join a fast-paced team and contribute from Day 1.

What you’ll be doing:

🔹 Jump directly into writing Python scripts for web and API automation

🔹 Maintain and extend a Selenium automation framework developed in Python

🔹 Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases

At CraftMyPlate, we’re transforming how India orders food for group gatherings. From office teams to family celebrations — we make bulk food ordering (10+ people) effortless, fast, and delightful.

We’re growing fast and scaling both our user base and technology systems. As we build for the next level, we’re hiring a Product Lead who can own the roadmap, prioritize ruthlessly, and ensure timely, scalable tech execution in partnership with our engineering team.

🧭 About This Role

This isn’t a passive product owner role.

You’ll shape WHAT we build, WHY we build it, and ensure HOW it gets delivered — on time, with quality and scale in mind.

You’ll work closely with founders, engineers, designers, and operations to solve customer-facing problems and internal operational bottlenecks — while keeping a sharp eye on tech feasibility and system health.

Your Core Responsibilities

1. Product Ownership & Prioritization

• Define and maintain the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Drive ruthless prioritization: Decide what to build now, what to push, and what to drop.
• Convert business problems into clear product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own product KPIs: Funnel conversion, order success rate, operational turnaround times.

2. Tech Execution Partner

• Work side-by-side with engineering on timelines, scope trade-offs, and execution planning.
• Join architecture discussions, API design reviews, and feature estimation cycles.
• Balance product velocity with system scalability and tech debt management.
• Proactively flag risks or execution delays and push for solutions.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration

• Interface with Sales, Operations, Design, and Founders to drive alignment and unblock dependencies.
• Support QA/UAT cycles, ensuring releases meet user expectations and internal standards.
• Conduct user research and post-launch feedback loops for continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in Product Management roles with strong exposure to tech execution.
• Hands-on experience working with engineering teams on delivery planning and system-level discussions.
• Comfortable in API design conversations, backlog estimations, and cloud-native system trade-offs.
• Proven experience managing web and mobile products (React / Flutter / Next.js preferred).
• Familiarity with AWS / GCP and serverless architectures is a strong plus.
• Strong track record in prioritization and stakeholder alignment in fast-moving startups.
• Analytical thinker — you use product metrics to drive decisions.

Bonus (Good to Have)

• Experience in food tech, B2C marketplaces, or logistics/order management systems.
• Familiarity with payment systems, checkout flows, or analytics instrumentation.
• Exposure to mobile app deployment workflows (Play Store / App Store).
• Understanding of event-driven architectures or microservices.

Job description :

 8+ year of QA Automation Lead experience

 Experience of preparing test automation solution, designing automation framework,

designing test strategy / test plan

 Experience in automation script development and optimization

 Recommend new tools, techniques and methodologies based on the industry trend and

improve productivity

 Experience in working with Product teams to strategize and align the long term solution for

test automation,

 Experience in designing framework for functional automation, performance testing, load,

security and penetration testing

 Experience in designing automation strategy for regression testing based on complexity and

reusability

 Experience leading the team and managing the deliverables on testing and maintaining Web

Applications and mobile applications is a MUST

 MUST be hands-on to play a crucial part in automating the test scenarios covering all the

modules/functionalities of the product

 Hands-on experience in contributing to building the CO pipeline with QA automation

framework & processes incorporated

 Hands-on / Familiar with Web driver IO, Java Script / Type Script, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG,

Cucumber, JMeter, Appium, RDBMS & AWS Services

 Ability to drive the involvement of the QA team at a very early stage of each enhancement

for the product evolution.

 Experience with API testing, Load/Performance testing, Cross browser testing

 Experience building defects analysis reports and analytics for the team members, leadership

team to make informed decisions

Preferred qualifications:

 Review requirements/specifications and create Automation test strategy and plans.

 Perform new functionality and regression tests

 Test APIs, user interfaces, web services, and web applications in multiple browsers and

devices

 Define automation coding standards and actively perform code reviews

 Perform data validation to ensure data from data source is completely and correctly

displayed on UI

 Debug and troubleshoot complex issues

 Expertise in Java especially for test automation using APIs and UI

 Expertise in high volume user loads and throughput environments

 Strong troubleshooting abilities and narrowing down the root cause

 Create clearly written defect reports to enable quick reproduction and resolution to issues

 Implement automation for functional and integration testcases.

 Prioritize QA requests and manage your work queue taking into consideration team goals

and product milestones

 Assist in on-going process improvement efforts related to quality

 Good knowledge of QA methodologies and processes

 Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks: Web driver IO, Selenium+TestNG,

Junit, Cucumber, JMeter / POST Man, Jenkins

 Knowledge of relational databases, non-relational databases, SQL

 Knowledge of GIT.

 Experience with both Linux/Unix and Windows environments

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Ability to think beyond assigned task, and be a good team player

 Passion for testing and quality

We are looking for a Backend Developer who has hands-on experience in coding, building technology blocks, help answer choice of certain platform/tech over others, help the team visualise the product with the available resources and assets. 

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and test functionality for the latest app design.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
• Take requirements and specs from design to development and be the first line of quality assurance.
• Understand user requirements—these apps have to meet real-world scenarios.
• Support the Supersub Mobile application in its entirety, including working on bug fixes and improving application performance, reliability and stability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in building Java, Node JS applications. 
• Experience in Building Robust REST APIs Using MEAN or MERN Stack. 
• Good programming skills, with the ability to Perform UI testing, Debugging Taking the ownership of the complete lifecycle of a product. 
• Solid experience with Unit Testing. 
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment) 
• Experience with deploying the code in AWS or AZURE is a plus. 
• Ability to write clean code and document the same to develop functional APIs and Admin Panel. 

Proven work experience in building a product is a plus. And the candidate must have an Engineering CS background.
