Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Development: Design and implement both client-side and server-side architecture using JavaScript frameworks and back-end technologies like Golang.
2. Database Management: Develop and maintain relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and optimize database queries and schema design.
3. API Development: Build and maintain RESTfuI APIs and/or GraphQL services to integrate with front-end applications and third-party services.
4. Code Quality & Performance: Write clean, maintainable code and implement best practices for scalability, performance, and security.
5. Testing & Debugging: Perform testing and debugging to ensure the stability and reliability of applications across different environments and devices.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver features aligned with business goals.
7. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, systems, and application architecture to ensure knowledge transfer and team alignment.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 1+ years in backend development in micro-services ecosystem, with proven experience in front-end and back-end frameworks.
2. 1+ years experience Golang is mandatory
3. Problem-Solving & DSA: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Front-End Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and familiarity with HTML/CSS.
5. Back-End Skills: Experience with server-side languages and frameworks like Node.js, Express, Python or GoLang.
6. Database Knowledge: Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
7. API Development: Hands-on experience with RESTfuI API design and integration, with a plus for GraphQL.
8. DevOps Understanding: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
9. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and strong communication abilities.

Nice-to-Have:

1. UI/UX Sensibility: Understanding of responsive design and user experience principles.
2. CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
3. Security Awareness: Basic understanding of web security standards and best practices.

• Handle the dual role of being the face of the brand to the customers, and the voice of the customer to the company.
• Handling customer queries related to Shvasa's products, brand, sales, payments and other related topics.
• Own the Live chat feature and inbound customer calls
• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• Create and present reports as required.
• Provide internal teams with constant feedback to improve products and processes as per valid customer needs.

Key skills required

• Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
• Exposure to US customers, with excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to independently handle queries, proactively update one's own knowledge by keeping in touch with other stakeholders.
• A customer focussed mindset with the sensitivity to handle complex queries and escalations as well.
• Ability to work in fast paced and high pressure environment

Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence.

Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.

Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.

Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.

Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.

Collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners.

Evaluates emerging technologies.

Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience working on UX challenges on digital products
• Ability to understand fundamental goals of business both in short and long term aspects
• Appreciate behavioural analytics principles and emphasis on data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to the team and leadership
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features

• Experience leading regression, automation, and performance test teams.
• Has in-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies with a focus on regression, automation, and performance test best practices.
• Good understanding of QA methodology – test plans, test cycles, defect management (including Root Cause Analysis), status reporting, and software releases.
• Experience managing team results to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Experience developing and maintaining Knowledge Transfer documentation and information.

This is a technolog yagnostic position and you would be viewed as a technolog enthusiast who can work (not code) on architecture and designing of any application immaterial of the technology used.
