At Lucidity, we are a year and a half old company and we work on helping large enterprises manage their cloud storage platform. 

Our founders bring with them more than a decade of experience working with top tech Gaints in the world, building and selling large tech products from zero to one. We are seeing a lot of early traction and expanding aggresively.

We are a B2B product based startup building the next generation of storage orchestration system for cloud. We are hiring agressively across multiple roles and looking for passionate engineers to join a very young and energetic team at Lucidity.

What you'll do

Technology is at the heart of our organization. As part of the tech team you will

• Understand product requirements and brainstorm ways to address them.
• Build features from scratch and have complete ownership for it.
• Deliver efficient, reliable, scalable code with high automated test coverage.
• Contribute to team decisions in the overall architecture and practices of the company.

What you'll need

Must haves

• At least 1 year experience in a product based company.
• Experience working with distributed environments.
• Comfortable with at least one Object Oriented Programming language.
• Hands on with AWS or at least one other public cloud.

Good to have

• Experience handling highly scalable systems.
• Experience with at least one among C++, Java.
• Experience with docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux file systems.

Additional

• B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery.

Must Haves

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 4+ years’  work experience in  software development
• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Understanding of operating system fundamentals (Linux)
• Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities
• Working experience with Kubernetes
• Experienced working with distributed databases at scale

Good to haves

• Experience in developing software using AWS native services & technologies.
• Experience taking a lead role in building and operating scalable distributed systems
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
• Familiar with building secure software using modern security principles
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment

• Lead large initiatives and be responsible for it
• Mentor teammates
• Set and enforce standards for writing and maintaining efficient code
• Influence team decisions in the overall architecture and practices of the company
• Contribute to company growth by participating in hiring activities

Must-haves

1. At least 4 years experience in a product based company
2. Experience working with distributed environments at scale
3. Strong command on at least one Object Oriented Programming language
4. Experience leading developers for large scale products
5. Demonstrated capability to design and architect products built for scale
6. Deep knowledge of multiple AWS services
7. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Good to have

1. Experience with at least one among C++, Java
2. Experience with Linux file systems
3. Familiarity with agile development methodologies
