Job Description: Center Manager - Skill Learning Academy

We are looking for an experienced and driven Center Manager to lead our skill learning academy, overseeing operations, marketing, and sales functions in both B2B and B2C segments. This role involves managing teams across marketing, sales, administration, and technical verticals, ensuring the center operates as a profitable entity while meeting targets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Sales: Drive marketing and concept sales in B2C and B2B segments, generating revenue from colleges, corporates, and universities.

Team Management: Oversee and mentor teams across multiple verticals, including marketing, sales, administration, and technical departments.

Profit Center Accountability: Run the center as a profit center, meeting revenue goals and managing operational efficiency.

Operations Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and successful execution of all activities within the center.

Target Achievement: Set and achieve center targets, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Leadership: Serve as a leader and mentor, guiding the team to meet objectives and maximize performance.

Location: Mohali (Work from office)

Requirements :

•   Good knowledge of Linux Ubuntu.
•   Knowledge of general networking practices/protocols / administrative tasks.
•   Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
•   Scripting to ensure operations automation and data gathering is accomplished seamlessly.
•   Ability to work cooperatively with software developers, testers, and database administrators.
•   Experience with software version control system (GIT) and CI.
•   Knowledge of Web server Apache, Nginx etc
•    E-Mail servers based on Postfix and Dovecot.
•   Understanding of docker and Kubernetes Containers.
•    IT hardware, Linux Server, System Admin, Server administrator

Job Description:-

• Manage the overall accounting and bookkeeping for the organization including accounts payable and receivable, inventory and capital assets, banking, and payroll functions
  
  
• Work closely with the Director of Finance and Operation to handle revenue for all development initiatives and strategies.
  
  
• Supervised of accounting system and book-keeping of SoftwareSuggest and CallHippo.
  
  
• Ensure that all applicable tax laws are in proper compliance i.e. Service tax, TDS, GST, PTAX, etc.
  
  
• Ensure that system and information are compatible to produce consolidated reports and accounts.
  
  
• Provide administrative assistance, including oversight of facility vendors and contracts, and establishing and managing vendor accounts and relationships.
  
  
• Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis of financial statements, including a statement of activities, fund balance, and sources/uses of funds, to the CFO and, as requested, to the Board of Directors.
  
  
• Ensure that SoftwareSuggets is reconciled on weekly basis - reconciling to bank statements, trade creditors and debtors, dealing with posting errors, etc...
  
  
• Produce a weekly summary of accounts including cash flow and trade creditors.
  
  
• Produce monthly reports of the Balance sheet, Bank Statement, Cash and Fund flow statement, etc...
  
  
• Provide advice on financial matters to the management team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the Development of JAVA technology.
• Strong Java Basics
• Linux
• SpringBoot or Spring MVC
• Hands-on experience in Relational Databases (SQL query or Hibernate) + Mongo (JSON parsing)
• Proficient in REST API development
• Messaging Queue (RabitMQ or Kafka)
• Microservices
• Java 8
• Any Caching Mechanism
• Good at problem-solving

Good to Have Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in using Java/J2EE tech stacks
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced internet start-up environment.
• Experience in technical mentorship/coaching is highly desirable.
• Understanding AI/ML algorithms is a plus.
