• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

• Experience in project management and QA methodology.

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Selenium, appium, Katalon, zika etc.) and SQL

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies. Write efficient and scalable code to automate functional, integration, and regression testing of web applications, APIs, and/or mobile applications.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to validate software functionality. Identify deviations from expected outcomes and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders. Troubleshoot and debug test failures to identify root causes and provide recommendations for issue resolution.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.
• Stay updated with the latest automation testing techniques, tools, and industry trends, and proactively contribute to the improvement of automation testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of test plans, test cases, test data, and automation scripts for reference and audit purposes. Update documentation as needed to reflect changes in requirements, software updates, or process improvements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured functional, system, and regression test plans and test cases.
• Understand the requirements and write automation tests for integration and regression.
• Develop and troubleshoot automated test scripts to validate the technical and functional integrity of web and mobile-based application components, backend API, and reports.
• Responsible for setting up and implementation of test automation strategy from Functional and Non-functional perspective for one module or multiple modules who you work with. Responsible to find innovative ways to optimize the test strategy for maximising ROI from areas which are undertaken for automation.
• Developing and executing test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Identifying, analyzing, and reporting defects and working with development teams to resolve them.
• Collaborating with other teams within the organization to ensure that testing activities are aligned with overall business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies.
• Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with testing web applications, APIs, and/or mobile applications on different platforms (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and software testing concepts (e.g., test design, test types, test levels).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate and report test results and issues to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Professional certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are a plus.

Requirements:

• Should have strong experience in Automation testing, developing, and executing test cases.
• Should have strong experience in Selenium with Java & Cucumber framework. 
• Should have a good amount of experience working with Mobile Application testing using Appium
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools (setting up jobs) like Jenkins
• Good knowledge of software testing life cycle: Test planning, Test design and execution, Defect Management, and Test Reporting.
• Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, System, and UAT Testing. 
• Good exposure to both Web and Mobile Automation Testing. 
• Excellent defect finding, debugging, and root cause analysis capabilities. 

We are looking for Senior Software Engineer with expertise and experience in designing and automating  the testing framework of web applications. The role involves continuous collaboration with development team, partners.

This position is for a tester with strong coding skills who likes challenges - someone who is constantly striving for excellence in software test automation.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop automated test cases on a day-to-day basis
• Gather and prioritize user requirements, feed these requirements into overall Automation Framework requirements and test plans
• Train team members on tool use and test automation tools, practices, techniques and best practices
• Communicate cross-functionally throughout the engineering organization
• Continuously monitor and boost test coverage across the product

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or better in CS or related field, with 3+ years experience in software test.
• Exposure to best practices in SQA including code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting and CI processes
• Experience in backend Testing using Java, API-Testing,Rest assured ,and Performance testing using Jmeter
• Excellent communications and technical presentation skills
• Initiative to research and build solutions to tough problems in domains like Flash, OpenGL, WebGL where off-the-shelf automation tools might not be available
• Some experience/comfort with working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:

• Knowledge of current build and test automation tools and processes, such as JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Mockito, JBehave, Git, etc
• Experience with whitebox testing, code reviews, SDK testing
• Experience with performance testing, stress testing, and advanced aspects of system testing automation.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Ruby or comparable).

• Experience in Java Programming with Selenium and Mobile Application (Appium).
• Experience in designing developing data quality automation and executing test plans.
• Experience in CI/CD and developing Test Automation Tools for Data Quality Assessment.
• Familiar with standard Quality Assurance and development tools.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Testing (manual and automation)
• Experience with Open Source testing tools like Selenium, Appium, REST Assured.
• Strong command of programming language like Java
• Ability to write custom code to test applications
• Deep understanding and ability to implement OO Programming
• Experience in creating test strategy and frameworks
• Ability to spike and choose appropriate automated testing tools for given problem statement
• Exposure to version management tools like SVN or GIT
• Familiarity with automated deployment processes (CI & CD)
