Job Description:
Distacart is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining infrastructure, tests, and automation for our e-commerce platform.
Qualifications.
1. B. Tech /B.E/ M.Tech with CS/IT with 60% Mandate.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation infrastructure and frameworks.
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of our e-commerce platform.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify potential issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Investigate, reproduce, and report defects in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve our testing processes and practices.
Requirements:
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience in building test infra to support automation
- Experience in building mobile browsing test infra using selenium browser stack/ lambda test/ jenkins.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python
- Experience with Selenium or similar web automation tools
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and API testing
- Experience with Git and continuous integration tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
