Job Title: Accountant Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Indian Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards (IND AS), taxation laws, and regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, tax filings, and providing financial analysis for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS).
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of financial books.
• Consolidate financial reports from different departments and business units.
• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS, Income Tax, and other tax-related filings.
• Prepare and manage GST reconciliation, filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS returns.
• Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations, including direct and indirect taxes.
• Accounts Management:
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and customer receipts.
• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and maintain supporting documentation.
• Internal Controls:
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
• Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and implement enhancements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and optimize resources.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay updated on changes in Indian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the organization complies with the regulatory frameworks of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and other relevant bodies.
• Financial Analysis & Advisory:
• Provide management with financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to optimize profitability.
• Prepare financial reports to support business strategies and operational decisions.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA (Chartered Accountant) or CMA (Cost Management Accountant) is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on Indian accounting and taxation laws.
• Experience working with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks).
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS), GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.

The Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for successfully designing and managing the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations

• Translate business requirements into system solutions

• Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives

• Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects

• Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed

• Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation

• Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues

• Provide solutions to pre-sales teams and present solutions to customers

Requirements

• 9-14 years CRM experience with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform

• Expert level understanding of the Salesforce clouds, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing and Community Clouds

• Knowledge of Manufacturing & Consumer Goods clouds is an added advantage

• Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions

• Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices

• Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture

• Familiarity with standard authentication mechanisms.

• Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different busines

• Owning Fintech Fraud Risk products across account opening and account and activity monitoring
• Defining OKRs for success such as % approvals, bp in losses, good customer friction, precision/ recall etc.
• Thinking out of the box and identifying opportunities where we can build world class Fraud Risk solutions either in-house or via partnerships
• Working with Engineering to create risk capabilities, analytics and decisioning logic to identify, analyze and prevent suspicious activities, including but not limited to: Identity Fraud, Account Takeover/ Abuse Fraud, Transactions Risk, Unauthorized Chargeback Risk etc.
• Driving Proof of Concepts and Demos to illustrate the company's capabilities
• Working with Sales, Business Operations and Engineering to meet internal and external stakeholder needs
• Researching emerging issues impacting Fintech players and ideating on solving their digital risks through innovation
• Validating supply partnerships to be used in solutioning, where needed
• Collaborating with external partners and clients and standardizing integration strategy for the company's input/ output and client feedback loops

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-7 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in Financial Fraud Risk
• Career concentration in Fintechs, Payments or Risk Service Providers
• Experience in developing requirements for Risk score-based rules engines, Classification and Regression models etc.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Maths, Statistics or an area of Technology
• Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analytics skills
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation and project management skills
• Experience with analytical/ statistical tools like SQL, SAS, Altair Knowledge Studio, R or Python preferable
• Experience in experimentation and A/B testing a plus
• Strong sense of product design and customer empathy
