Implement and continually improve the observability platform using Datadog, particularly from a user experience perspective.

Work across engineering squads as a virtual team member, supporting their DevOps, infrastructure, and observability requirements.

Configure and manage Datadog RUM, Session Replay, Distributed Tracing, and APM.

Support campaign readiness activities, including load and performance testing.

Participate in gamedays and incident response activities for production systems.

Liaise closely with the managed infrastructure provider on infrastructure requirements and activities.

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 2 – 5 years of experience working on AWS-based production systems. This role strictly requires hands-on experience managing production databases (MongoDB / SQL).

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure with focus on availability, security, and cost.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerized applications in production.
• Manage and scale production databases (backup, replication, performance tuning, upgrades).
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Manage MongoDB or SQL in high-scale environments.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer for IT Services Management Team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the application management of a B2C application to meet the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and fulfil customer expectations.
