Solutions Architect (AWS)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong technical expertise across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code (IaC). The ideal candidate should also have direct client-facing experience and a proactive approach to managing both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external clients to understand infrastructure requirements and implement DevOps best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, etc.).
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Write robust automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
• Monitor system performance and availability, and ensure high uptime and reliability.
• Execute and optimize SQL queries for MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Maintain clear documentation and provide technical support to stakeholders and clients.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Proven experience in client-facing engagements and communication.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services – EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, etc.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub.
• Solid understanding of SQL and working experience with MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in Python and Shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team to plan, execute and monitor deployments
• Capacity planning for product deployments
• Adopt best practices for deployment and monitoring systems
• Ensure the SLAs for performance, up time are met
• Constantly monitor systems, suggest changes to improve performance and decrease costs.
• Ensure the highest standards of security

Key Competencies (Functional):

• Proficiency in coding in atleast one scripting language - bash, Python, etc
• Has personally managed a fleet of servers (> 15)
• Understand different environments production, deployment and staging
• Worked in micro service / Service oriented architecture systems
• Has worked with automated deployment systems – Ansible / Chef / Puppet.
• Can write MySQL queries

• 3 - 6 years of software development, and operations experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and applications at scale.
• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
• Experience managing any distributed NoSQL system (Kafka/Cassandra/etc.)
• Experience with Containers, Microservices, deployment and service orchestration using Kubernetes, EKS (preferred), AKS or GKE.
• Strong scripting language knowledge, such as Python, Shell
• Experience and a deep understanding of Kubernetes.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery.
• Work collaboratively with software engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems

Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in building infrastructure experience with Cloud Providers ( AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Build and Deployment Management (Gitlab).
• Experience in writing automation scripts using Shell, Python, and Terraform based.
• Good experience in building pipelines with YAML-based knowledge of the GitLab environment.
• System Administration skill set.
• Docker/Kubernetes container infrastructure and orchestration
• Deploying/operating NodeJs/PHP/LAMP framework-based clusters with infrastructure.
• Monitoring, metrics collection, and distributed tracing
• Infrastructure as code” – Experience with Terraform preferred.
• Strong AWS Deployment Experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• End to End-building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines etc.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large scale systems
• Develop and implement instrumentation for monitoring the health and availability of services including fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery (automated and manual)
• Develop, improve, and thoroughly document operational practices and procedures.

• As a DevOps Engineer, you need to have strong experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Setup development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (Mobile, Web API’s & AIML)

• 3+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer and strong working knowledge in CI/CD pipelines

• Strong knowledge in Linux-based infrastructures and AWS/Azure/GCP environment

About You

You have 6+ years of experience in AWS infra Automation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced operations environment and to develop your career in Cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services.

You are building and monitoring CI/CD pipeline in AWS cloud. This is a highly scalable backend application building on Java platform. We need a resource who can troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify system service issues.

This is a key role within our DevOps team and will involve working as part of a collaborative agile team in a shared services DevOps organization to support and deliver innovative technology solutions that directly align with the delivery of business value and enhanced customer experience. The primary objective is to provide support to Amazon Web Services hosted environment, ensure continuous availability, working closely with development teams to ensure best value for money, and effective estate management.

• Setup CI/CD Pipeline from scratch along with integration of appropriate quality gates.
• Expertise level knowledge in AWS cloud. Provision and configure infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Build and configure Kubernetes-based infrastructure, networking policies, LBs, and cluster security. Define autoscaling and cost strategies.
• Automate the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more
• Manage deployments and rollbacks of applications
• Implement monitoring and metrics with Cloud watch, Newrelic
• Troubleshoot and optimize containerized workload deployments for clients
• Automate operational tasks, and assist in the transition to service ownership models.
