We are looking for a hardcore Server & Dev Ops guy to work with our Product team. You will be building microservices based APIs that drive operations and technology at Visit. The architecture must scale to 1mn+ users. If you are someone who is OCD about fine tuning server configs, logging perfs and reverse search using zsh — then you are the right fit for us! Skills and Qualifications Proficient understanding of server-side shell scripting, *nix commands, performance logging and monitoring. Working knowledge of Linux / Mac environments Good understanding of Apache/nginx Good understanding of MySQL DB performance gotchas and nuisances. Familiarity with AWS / Digital Ocean or any cloud compute service Load balancing and auto scaling (optional) Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Proficient in building REST APIs Experience with oAuth / OpenID or other forms of Authentication.
