We are looking for a Support Engineer with hands-on experience in trading systems and capital markets, who thrives in fast-paced, high-availability environments and is passionate about client-facing technical support.

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Application / Technical Support, preferably in the broking or trading domain
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets – Equity, F&O, Currency, Commodities
• Solid technical troubleshooting skills:
• Linux/Unix
• SQL
• Log analysis
• Familiarity with Trading Systems, RMS, OMS, APIs (REST/FIX), and order lifecycle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction
• Ability to work under pressure during live trading hours and manage multiple priorities
• Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients reporting issues related to trading applications and platforms
• Log, track, and monitor incidents using internal tools and ensure resolution within defined TATs
• Coordinate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and other internal teams to drive timely resolution
• Provide clear, proactive, and regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, escalations, resolutions, and fixes for audits and future reference
• Support clients with queries related to system functionality, performance, and usage
• Communicate proactively with clients regarding product enhancements, features, and updates

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.
• A solid understanding of application design using Codeignitor/Laravel.
• Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL.
• Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.
• Practical experience using the MVC architecture.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervision and execution of project as per agreed design and cost parameters.
• To coordinate with local architects and contractors to ensure detailed plans are in line with the project expectations.
• To ensure availability of materials, equipment that are needed at site.
• To check with the statutory compliance of the project and to ensure that the project site is free from complications before starting the project.
• To provide technical guidance on site whenever & wherever required and resolving critical issues on site.
• To ensure that there is safe working environment at the site and check if all safety measures are taken care of.
• Should have successfully demonstrated capability to design and implement SOPs for end-to-end construction activities.
• Should be well conversant with the quality parameters and check lists for end-to-end construction processes and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Lead one of the product verticals in the development of technology strategy, planning, hiring and execution of the next iteration of the WeInvest platform.

• Institutionalize a strong software engineering culture and facilitate a rapid, iterative, layered development approach.

• Be hands on with the coding, evaluate design and architecture choices, do in-depth code reviews, and implement standards and practices for software development.

• Inspire the engineering team to build quality, scalable code by pairing with team members periodically.

• Participate in the definition and management of high-quality product roadmaps based on business, product & tech strategy.

• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Masters /BE/ B.Tech from a reputed institute

• About 6-10 years professional experience in software development.

• Excellent logical and analytical reasoning capabilities combined with strong knowledge of core

computer science concepts like algorithms, data structures, software design patterns, OOP etc.

• Should have experience in all the phases of SDLC

• Must have experience in leading a team. (At least 2-3 people)

• Be an expert in ruby on rails with experience OR from Fintech, Wealth Management OR Investment

• Management Domain with experience in any of the programming languages (Java/Python/Ruby).

• Breadth of experience in multiple technologies, tools, frameworks and processes is a big plus.

• Excellent understanding of core computer science concepts like algorithms, data structure,

Software design patterns, OOP etc. Be able to lead the team in design & architecture discussions,

introduce new tools, concepts & process to the team and guide other members of the team.

• Experience working in an agile team with software engineering practices like automated testing,

test- driven-development, continuous integration etc is a big plus.

• Excellent oral and written communication.
