Role and Responsibilities:

• Work as part of an agile team developing applications, designing sprints, and leading the team in ensuring deliveries are met.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications.
• Ensure code modularity with micro-services architecture. 
• Ensure best practices in Web application development.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle and write code that is maintainable, clear, and concise.
• Manage application deployment in AWS, considering security, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage/evolve automated testing setup for the backend and frontend for faster bug reporting and fixing.
• Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
• Learn about the domain and competitors to propose new features and help in product improvement.

Best suited for candidates who

• Experienced as a MEAN/MERN Stack developer.
• Strong expertise with Angular 2+ / ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Socket.io.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a secured, scalable, production-ready application development and deployment.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of Git, and CI/CD practices.

• Work with product managers to find solutions to critical problems, face internal customers, and create requirements.
• Triage and fix critical issues that arise in the field that affect our core product.
• Manage git repositories, pull requests, and review code.
• Communicate properly & promptly with all stakeholders.
• Build a proof-of-concept for new products from scratch.
• Optimize, clean up, and comment on the existing codebase.

• Must have 5-8 years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Must be an expert in Javascript with ES6+ features, Node.js, ReactJS, and Redux
• Must be an expert in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Webpack.
• You are proficient with RESTful API design and implementation using Node.js.
• Proficiency in relational (MySQL, Cloud Spanner, etc.) and non-relational (MongoDB, Google Cloud Firestore, etc.) databases.
• Must be an expert in data structure and creating highly optimized algorithms.
• Should have a working knowledge of GCP services like App Engine, CloudSQL, Compute Engine, etc.
• Should have a working understanding of microservices patterns, serverless design, and event-based architecture.
• Willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and paradigms.

• Web application development experience in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (including new ES features), Python

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product features from ideation, automated testing, and implementation to deployment and monitoring.

Skills Needed

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks is required.
