Key Requirements
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Invision, Sketch, Power point etc.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
- A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking
- Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
- Proficient in design software
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus

What’s the interview process like?
The interview process consists of 2-3 technical rounds discussing your (i) portfolio and previous work (ii) design process, user understanding and (iii) product / design critique. Sometimes there may be an optional short design assignment involved. This is followed by a 30 min cultural fitment round. In the interview we try to understand your skills in visual design skills, UX design and product thinking.

Role Summary
This role will primarily be responsible for envisioning, defining, and owning the execution of upGrad's product design strategy. As the strategic design leader, team coach, and customer champion you'll galvanize people to solve complex problems, developing strategies, and ensuring product designers have the space to create products that deliver enduring value.
