Job Summary :

We are looking for a Fullstack JavaScript Engineer with a backend-heavy profile to join our innovative product team.

You’ll be involved across the full product lifecycle — from design and development to deployment and operations — for modern travel systems.

Ideal candidates should be strong in JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js, with a solid understanding of TDD, OOP, and CI/CD practices.

Mandatory Skills :

JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, OOP, TDD, CI/CD, Unit Testing, HTML/CSS, and experience in fullstack/backend-heavy development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build robust features for our next-gen Trip Planning Systems.
• Work across the full stack: backend (Node.js, Kotlin), frontend (Vue.js/React.js), and APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Participate in the entire SDLC – from planning and architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Follow modern software engineering best practices like TDD, code reviews, continuous integration.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical design discussions.

Must-Have Skills :

• 4 to 6 Years of professional experience in fullstack development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript & Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with React.js (preferred over Angular).
• Proficiency in building REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of OOP and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Comfort working with multiple languages or stacks (e.g., Kotlin, Vue.js).
• Experience with unit testing and automation frameworks.

Nice-to-Have :

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable applications using MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Node.js, Express.js, React.js, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Team Management

• Assign tasks, set priorities, track progress, and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards, ensure maintainability, and improve code quality.

• Architect and implement microservices, micro-frontends, and modular micro-apps for scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.

Backend Development (Node.js & Express.js)

• Design and implement secure, scalable backend structures and APIs.
• Develop reusable tools and libraries to support a microservices architecture.
• Handle error management and debugging for seamless application functionality.
• Work with message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis for event-driven communication.
• Use tools like New Relic or Prometheus to monitor and debug production systems.
• Solve challenging technical problems with smart, scalable solutions.

Database Management (MongoDB)

• Design efficient and scalable database schemas for large-scale projects.
• Optimize database performance using indexing, aggregation, and advanced querying techniques.
• Leverage MongoDB features like sharding and replication to handle large datasets efficiently.

Frontend Development (React.js & JavaScript)

• Build and optimize reusable, high-performance React.js components and dynamic user interfaces.
• Develop robust solutions for complex UI interactions, including drag-and-drop functionality.
• Implement efficient state management using Redux, Context API, or React Query.
• Optimize web performance, including DOM manipulation, memory management, and responsiveness.
• Ensure applications adhere to WCAG accessibility standards and provide excellent user experiences.

Best Practices & Continuous Improvement

• Define and enforce coding standards, workflows, and best practices for high-quality development.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Write secure and robust code to protect against vulnerabilities like XSS and CSRF.
• Regularly monitor and optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in MERN stack technologies and software development practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

·        Qualification: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

·        Proven 4+ years of experience in full stack development, including proficiency with React, Tailwind CSS, Python, and Flask.

·        Strong understanding of Graph QL concepts and hands-on experience with Ariadne or similar frameworks.

·        Familiarity with containerization using Docker for application deployment.

·        Demonstrated expertise in machine learning model integration, preferably using the Hugging Face framework.

·        Experience deploying machine learning models on cloud platforms such as Replicate and AWS is a strong plus.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.

·        Should have experience in Backend: Python, Flask Framework, Langchain ML Ops Framework, Ariadne Graph QL Framework, Docker. Frontend: React, Tailwind. ML Model Development – Hugging Face Model Training, ML Deployment onto Replicate or AWS

Skills we are looking for :

- Experience in developing full-stack applications at scale in ReactJs/AngularJs & NodeJs.

- Strong knowledge and experience in HTML(5), CSS, SCSS, and Advanced JavaScript

- Good knowledge of coding RESTful APIs.

- Strong knowledge of Web Storage (Cookie, Local Storage, and Session Storage)

- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT

- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

- Ability to work in a lean-agile development environment.

Good to know :

- Using GIT

- Knowledge of AWS

The Role Expectation

You Have

• A sound knowledge of Python, hands-on experience in using Django/Flask etc., design patterns and application design

• A good understanding of message queues mechanisms like Redis/RabitMQ (or similar)
• Knowledge of python web crawling frameworks like Scrapy & Frontera
• Hands on experience with CI/CD
• Experience in using Git for source code management & Jira

Good to Have

• Strong Linux skills, knowledge of building large scale, multi-threaded applications and experience in designing and building RESTful web services,
• Building API services with GraphQL
• Skills in configuring and implementing Hadoop/HDFS, Elasticsearch and HBase or knowledge of any graph databases
• Prior experience in architecting large scale distributed systems and experience with cloud deployments on AWS/Azure
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Domain knowledge in the financial/data space; any external, relevant certifications.
