Who we are looking for:

Full Stack Engineer (Position based in Chennai)

The following criteria are mandatory requirements and we strongly encourage that you apply only if you meet all these criteria:

1. Minimum 3 years of work experience

2. Proven capability to understand clients business needs

3. At least one demonstrable stint of architecting a database from scratch

4. Multiple programming language capabilities a must. In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language

5. Willingness to wear multiple hats depending on our business needs will be a priority

6. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in front-end development

7. Knowledge of current tools, platforms and languages an absolute must

8. Hands-on experience in cloud technologies and project management capabilities will be considered favourably

We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our fast-growing QA team. With our Product Engineering team rapidly iterating and deploying new code, our Test Engineers drive the crucial effort of designing automated test suites that are reliable and maintainable. This team is tasked with ensuring the automated testing of existing code and developing thorough test approaches for new features and products. 

This role reports directly to our Director of QA, and will be based in Chennai, India. If you are someone who is motivated by solving problems and improving efficiencies

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience with testing, test automation and development
• Strong experience in designing and reviewing test plans and test cases.
• Solid experience in both manual and automated testing for REST web service APIs and/or web applications.
• Working experience in automation frameworks, like testNG, Selenium or Cypress.
• Strong coding skills in programming languages like Java, Scala or Javascript
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Capable of comprehending and contributing to high level requirements and designs.
• Good understanding of Linux / Unix platform.
• Nice to have: Prior experience with Amazon Web Service (AWS).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work closely with the rest of the Engineering team to deliver high quality products in an agile development environment.
• Participate in product design discussions and sprint planning meetings.
• Participate in full cycle SDLC: initial design, test implementation, identifying bugs, verifying bug fixes and production release.
• Design and write comprehensive test plans and test cases for releases.
• Perform manual and automated testing for REST web service APIs / web applications.
• Build and enhance automated test suites and test harnesses.
• Improve and maintain high coverage of regression automated tests.
• Improve and innovate the tooling to run tests reliably and efficiently.
• Test and verify requirements of newly implemented code by Engineering for Data Scientists. 
• Perform statistical analysis on project data for Data Science.

Job Summary :

      As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of software components all the way to production. In this position you will partner with our globally distributed cross-functional teams, product managers and other internal stakeholders. This position requires understanding business & technical requirements, designing clean solutions, implementing them and managing these systems. A key aspect of the role is to understand the digital commerce businesses part of KBX and implement technology systems that favourably align with business initiatives and requirements. The position will be evaluated in terms of the quality of the technology development, ongoing management of the systems and impact on business metrics.

Responsibilities :

• Work closely with cross functional teams to and deliver quality technology solutions
• Operational rigor for a rapidly growing tech stack and live portals
• Regular communication with management on status and risks.
• Measure success metrics and influence evolution of the tech product
• Be resourceful and find creative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Basic Qualifications :

• Ability to understand business requirements and build technology solutions that factor in the business requirements completely
• Possess an extremely sound understanding of basic areas of Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented, Databases.
• Excellent coding skills 
• Great problem solving skills and propensity to learn and develop tech talent.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science and years of Software Development experience

Preferred Qualifications :

• Understanding on Web programming is must; full stack experience would be a plus.
• Understanding on AWS Cloud Stack (EC2, Lambda, Dynamo DB, Aurora) would be a plus
• Knowledge of serverless development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Understanding tender documents, preparing synopsis and sharing it with management.
• Uploading the tender documents online & final submission of tender or bid.
• Responsible for drafting proposals for various projects in coordination with other departments.
• Preparation of pre-bid queries and regular follow up with the concerned departments.
• Making quotations, checklist for all type of tenders
• Preparing bid documents and getting it validated by the management.
• Submitting tender documents online (and physically if required).
• Maintaining records in the system

Requirements:

• Completed BE/BTech in Electrical
• 3-5 years experience
• Must be in Pune and comfortable to work from office in Kothrud
• Knowledge about datacenter industry (preferred)
• Experience with SAP system (preferred)
