Java Design software, write code, write unit test cases, test code and review code on a daily basis
Tactical contributions to the low-level implementation
Create/enhance scalable, high performance and fault-tolerant architectures
Develop complex and distributed software modules using Java/JEE, Streaming, and Big Data technologies
Identify the performance and scalability bottlenecks and provide solutions to resolve
Write software to develop products on a daily basis
Write unit test cases and schedule/execute them
Provide estimation during grooming and sprint planning
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; ability to communicate with technical team and clients
Experience working in an Agile environment
Excellent analytical skills, ability to think abstractly and solve complex problems
Expertise in common object-oriented and enterprise design patterns
Technology agnostic
Hands-on experience on frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, OGM
Hands-on experience with relational databases (like Postgres, MySQL, Oracle)
Experience with Elasticsearch is a must

● Thorough understanding and experience of Angular 5/6/7 and its core principles
● Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript

● Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (preferably ES6) API.
● Understanding of CSS box model.
● Experience in writing modular and maintainable code.
● Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
● Experience with RESTful APIs
● Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
● Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
● Experience with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
● Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements
● A knack for benchmarking and optimization
● Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

Color Neon is a French brand that designs and manufactures custom LED neon signs. A customer sends us their text, logo or artwork and we turn it into a made-to-measure sign: they choose the font, colour and size, preview it in 3D, and see it on their own wall before they order.
We sell direct across France and Europe from colorneon.com. More than 10,000 homes, bars, restaurants, shops and event planners have bought from us. Every sign is handcrafted, energy-efficient LED neon with a 2-year warranty.
The business runs on Shopify. We built our own 3D neon configurator so customers can design their sign in the browser, and we work AI-first: the team uses Claude and Codex every day to build, test and ship.
We are now opening our first engineering seat in India, in Indore. Until now every technical decision has been made remotely from France. That changes with this hire: one engineer, sitting with the founder, owning the Shopify apps, the storefront rebuild and the configurator. One product, long term, with real ownership.
