Web Developer

Zolvit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Frontend Software Engineer to join our

growing engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in

designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, user-centric frontend experiences

across web and mobile platforms. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, user-friendly frontend applications using

modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Next.js, React, Angular, Vue.js).

● Develop and maintain native mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

● Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend applications with backend APIs

using microservices architecture.

● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding

standards.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to deliver

exceptional user experiences.

● Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions.

● Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, promoting automation and continuous delivery.

● Monitor and optimize the performance of frontend applications, ensuring a smooth and

responsive user experience.

● Champion a quality-driven development approach, including unit testing, integration

testing, and end-to-end testing.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and

mobile app development.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical

experience.

● Proven experience in frontend software engineering, with a strong focus on building and

scaling web and mobile applications.

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript and at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g.,

Next.js, React, Angular, Vue.js).

● Experience developing and deploying native mobile applications for iOS and Android

platforms using languages like Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.

● Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

● Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs, preferably within a

microservices architecture.

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and other common API protocols.

● Experience with state management libraries and techniques (e.g., Redux)

● Experience with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Material UI).

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

● A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and excellent

Position Overview:

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative user interfaces and ensuring the seamless integration of design and functionality. • Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio.

• Experience in Micro Front End architecture with Webpack Module Module Federation to combine multiple domain driven web apps on the same page without refreshing the page.
• Experience in different approaches on orchestration of Micro-apps of Client Side composition.
• Experience with package manager like npm,yearn.
• Experience with tools/packages like Visual Studio Code,ES Lint,SonarQube,Keycloak.
• Good understanding on Unit testing framework - Jest/ enzyme.

Your responsibilities:

We have three portals for different types of users and they are written in Angular. Your primary responsibility will be to provide impeccable user experience to the users on all forms of devices. You will be leading the effort of overhaul of one of the portals which we want to partly rewrite. Your Angular, JavaScript and design skills will matter the most here. Apart from this, you will be involved in all design discussions and code reviews and expected to give your inputs to ensure the best frontend development practices are followed. You will support your team members when they are facing challenges, and mentor them when appropriate.

Must-have Skills:

• 4-8 years of total experience
• 2+ years of experience in Angular. You must be pro at it. The team will be looking up to you for making most out of Angular.
• Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap
• Excellent Javascript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6 and TypeScript
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• Responsive design methodologies and techniques

Good-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with UI testing and automation frameworks
• Experience of Chart.js
