Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and versatile 3D Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in 3D modeling, texturing, animation, and rendering, with the ability to work on a variety of projects across different platforms.

Designation: 3D Generalist (Texturing artist)

Experience: 2+ yrs

Shift: Rotational shift

Location: Chennai (Nungambakkam)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for use in various projects
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and bring them to life in 3D
• Must demonstrate an understanding of technical art production and end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and rendering.
• Fast turnaround on both hard-surface and organic modeling is a must.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance the quality of our projects
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a 3D Generalist or similar role
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as 3Ds Max, V-ray Rendering etc.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 3D projects and styles
• Highly proficient in building product accurate photo-realistic 3D shades and texture
• Excellent understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, animation, and rendering techniques
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

1. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies, and programs to ensure reliability and optimal performance of equipment and facilities.

2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting machinery and equipment.

3. Coordinate with team during installation, maintenance, and repair projects.

4. Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities according to established schedules and guidelines.

5. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, including equipment logs, work orders, and inventory records.

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production downtime to minimize disruptions.

• Lead the development of the backend systems for our first product
• Build reliable, secure and performant backend systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Deep and wide knowledge of Python ecosystem
• Can write code that is readable, maintainable, secure and performant
• Know the importance of tests and how to approach writing different types of tests
• Good intuition for REST API design
• Deep understanding of relational databases, transactions, entity-relationship modeling
• Comfortable writing highly concurrent systems
• Experienced in using profilers, tuning garbage collection, optimizing SQL queries

Required Technical Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in the development and maintenance of consumer-facing high traffic android applications with a desire to work in growing fast-paced startups.
• Worked on applications from scratch. Well versed with building apps for various screen density and sizes.
• Up to date on upcoming trends in android and its ecosystem with respect to design, architecture etc.
• Experience in optimizing all important parameters like network utilization, application size and battery.
• Experience with kotlin, coroutines, dagger, retrofit, rx-android and android architecture components etc.
• Understanding of MVVM or MVP architecture to maintain separation of concerns.
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented design concepts and algorithms.
• Experience with version control like SVN/Git
