Essential Responsibilities:

Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development life cycle and distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.

Work closely with your peers and keep engaging in a fast pace technical design and development team

Execute in a fast pace delivery mode and focus on delivering tasks to meet monthly and quarterly digital product release goals

Lead impact assessment and decisions related to technology choices, design / architectural considerations and implementation strategy

Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation

Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment

Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules

Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.

Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

Drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and apply existing technology to designs

Be an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices

Job Summary

• BS/BE/BCA/MSC/MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Hands on experience is preferable in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and J2EE internals
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, HTML5, MVC)
• Knowledge on Micro services, Containers / Docker would be added advantage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and develop features and modules for mission-critical applications
• Build modules on MES products like (SAP, Apriso, Rockwell etc.,)
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
2 - 5 years of hands-on Software Development experience using the below mentioned Technologies

• Manage security tools(Snyk, Fossa, Trivy).
• Manage vulnerability programs. Triage vulnerabilities, assign priorities and owners, follow up on the mitigation 
• Monitor license violations.  
• Perform Security Assessments and Threat Modeling
• Security Incident Response. Be part of a security-on-call team in PagerDuty, act as incident commander, perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Drive security initiatives(Web Application Security, Least-privilege principle, Secrets Management, Key Management, PKI and Certificate Management, Anti-fraud protection).

You'll need:

• Web application security experience.
• Familiarity with a modern SaaS infrastructure and application development.
• Manual and/or automated Penetration Testing (white box, black box & grey box).
• Good understanding of security risk(OWASP Top 10).
• Pen-testing: burp suite/ postman, etc.
• Vulnerability management: Snyk, fossa, NexusIQ, WhiteHat security, aqua security, GitHub security, etc.
• Familiarity with major security protocols.
• Collaboration, transparency, and integrity.
• BS/MS degree; 5+ years of relevant experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience in scripting languages(BASH, Python, JS, etc).

• Provision, maintain and administer MS Azure Cloud Environment
• Windows server administration.
• Implement and maintain cloud monitoring, auditing and network management functions.

• Develop, maintain, and execute Configuration Management scripts.

• Experience in server hardening best practices
• Knowledge of special security arrangements like Network security, DoS Protection, OS firewall, etc
• Ability to work with software firewalls and web application firewalls
• Log management and replication to a central server
• Ability to architect a secure deployment in Azure/Aws cloud using the native abstractions and services provided by respective cloud service providers.
• Ability to conduct a self VAPT of the network and servers, so that the environments are better prepared for external audits by customers' info sec teams and/or auditors.
• Ability to use DevOps automation to setup environments from scratch and also patch them from time to time to handle the changes resulting out of various factors e.g. VAPT audits, customer requests
• Experience building solutions using MS Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of general networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls).
• Experience development & maintenance of a CI/CD system.
• In-depth knowledge of build and deployment automation technologies.
