
Job Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle from identifying prospects to closing deals. You will sell AI, automation, and custom software services to startups and businesses globally. This is not a lead-generation-only role. We expect someone who can close.
What You Will Do
Sales & Business Development
- Own end-to-end sales: outreach, discovery calls, proposals, negotiation, and closure
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and hit monthly/quarterly revenue targets
- Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
Outreach & Campaigns
- Plan and run outbound campaigns across email and LinkedIn
- Write personalised messages that convert - not generic mass outreach
- Track open rates, reply rates, and conversions; improve based on data
AI-Powered Execution
- Use tools like Clay, Apollo, and ChatGPT to personalise outreach at scale
- Build lightweight automation to cut manual work on research and follow-ups
CRM & Pipeline
- Keep CRM updated with accurate deal stages, notes, and forecasts
- Send weekly pipeline reports to founders with clear blockers and next steps
Process & SOPs
- Document what works: lead gen, outreach, proposals, follow-ups, closure
- Build repeatable systems so the BD function can scale beyond just you
Partnerships
- Identify and develop partnerships with agencies and resellers internationally
- Explore new acquisition channels beyond inbound and outbound
What We Need
Must have:
- 2+ years in business development or sales at an IT services or SaaS company
- Proven track record of closing deals, not just sourcing leads
- Solid understanding of AI, automation, or software services (you don't need to code, but you must hold a credible conversation with a technical buyer)
- Daily CRM experience - HubSpot or Saleshandy
- Strong written English for outreach and proposals
Good to have:
- Experience selling to US, UK, or European clients
- Exposure to agency or reseller partnerships
- Familiarity with Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools
