We’re looking for a talented Java Developer & Support Engineer with strong skills in Java, Application Support, Splunk, and SQL (Insert/Update queries). You’ll develop Java apps, handle L2/L3 support, write and optimize SQL queries, and use Splunk for monitoring and analysis.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Java Backend Developer with strong experience in designing and deploying scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in modern Java development, containerization, messaging systems like Kafka, and knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Spring Boot on Azure cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Work with Java 11+ features including Streams, Functional Programming, and Collections framework.
• Develop and manage Docker containers, enabling efficient development and deployment pipelines.
• Integrate messaging services like Apache Kafka into microservice architectures.
• Design and maintain data models using PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Implement unit testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Cucumber or similar tools.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and other teams for seamless CI/CD integration and deployment pipelines.
• Work with Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized services.
• Utilize Couchbase or similar NoSQL technologies when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Java (11 or above) and Spring Boot framework.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and deployment on Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, and exposure to Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Kafka, with real-world project experience.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (or any SQL DB) and data modeling principles.
• Experience in writing unit tests using JUnit and mocking tools.
• Experience with Cucumber or similar frameworks for API automation testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, DevOps processes, and Git-based workflows.

Position details

• Fully remote.
• 5 days/week (all public and government holidays will be non-working days).
• No specific work hours (we will sync over zoom over the course of the day).

Job Description:

• Programming and optimizing smart contracts

Required qualifications:

Nice to have:

cryptography and system software development experience, understanding of design patterns, understanding of operating systems and networks, ability to design algorithms and mathematical models.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of professional software development experience

- You will be working with the Supply Chain Management team building a leading eCommerce platform for Asian markets

- Order Promising system, promising the order delivery promise date to customer by applying the constraints on current resource availability across different steps in the supply chain. This system needs to scale for thousands of requests per minute with few million seconds of response time

- Warehouse and Inventory Management system, this system needs to scale to processing huge number of orders across different warehouse.

- Transportation and Logistics Management, involves planning and delivery of huge number orders to end customer. This system has the workflows to manage first mile, line haul and last mile delivery to customer

- Inventory Planning, helps in tracking different selling behaviours of the items and triggers / helps planners to replenish, promote, markdown or place inventory at right place to cut down the on hand inventory requirements

- You will be actively involved during the entire technology development lifecycle. Responsibilities will include all aspects from design, coding review, coding, unit testing, end user feedback cycle changes and manging and scaling the system in production.

- Primary role in leading software development teams
