Responsibilities:
- Good Knowledge in Sketching and Painting (BFA Preferable).Interpret concept art and sketches to create virtual characters, environments and props
- Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints
- Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members
- Optimize, refine and correct model geometry
- Rig models and characters for animation
- Color characters, add Textures and shade the given characters based on the material used
- Create textures that generate visual interest and define the characteristics.
- Generate the output within the time frame by understanding the desired output.
- Create a UV map and Occlusion map
- Work with artists, animators and programmers to execute projects on time
- Keep abreast with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modeling tools and technologies
Requirements
- Good Knowledge in Sketching and Painting (BFA Preferable).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D artist(Modeling and texturing)
- Good organization skills.
- Good Knowledge of 3D Modeling, Lighting and Rendering.
- Excellent knowledge of real-time modeling techniques (shaders, PBR, normal, displacement etc. )
- Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity.
- Strong high & low-resolution modeling and texturing skills.
- Good experience in the video game industry with 3D packages, preferably Maya or 3DSMax & ZBrush.
- Experience working on published mobile games would be a strong advantage.
- College Diploma/Degree in graphic design, 3D, video game development or equivalent training.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic leader with hands-on expertise in Flutter, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, and Unity, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. The ideal candidate is not just a tech leader but also a problem-solver and a team builder ready to take ownership of the platform's end-to-end technology lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tech Strategy & Vision: Define and execute Wizdom's technical strategy to ensure scalability, security, and performance of the platform.
- Product Development: Architect, design, and implement clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on clean architecture principles.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing tech team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and collaboration.
- Hands-on Development: Be ready to get into the trenches—contribute to coding, architecture decisions, and problem-solving when required.
- Scalability & Reliability: Develop and optimize backend systems (Node.js & MongoDB), mobile applications (Flutter), and cloud infrastructure (AWS).

We're looking for a Backend Lead Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The Engineering Team forms the backbone of our core business. We build and iterate over our core platform that handles orders, payments, delivery promises, order tracking, logistics integrations to name a few. Our products are actively used by Fynd users, Operations, Delights, and Finance teams. Our team consists of generalist engineers who work on building REST APIs, Internal tools, and Infrastructure for all these users.
What will you do at Fynd?
- Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
- Managing and mentoring a team of 2-5 engineers, Delegating tasks, and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Build scalable and loosely coupled services to extend our platform
- Build bulletproof API integrations with third-party APIs for various use cases with the team.
- Evolve our Infrastructure and add a few more nines to our overall availability
- Have full autonomy and own your code, and decide on the technologies and tools to deliver as well operate large-scale applications on AWS
- Give back to the open-source community through contributions on code and blog posts
- This is a startup so everything can change as we experiment with more product improvements
- Write technical documentation
Some Specific Requirements
- Atleast 2+ years of Tech Lead Experience, 5+ years of Development Experience
- You have prior experience developing and working on consumer-facing web/app products
- Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems
- Hands-on experience in JavaScript / Python / Node.Js. Exceptions can be made if you’re really good at any other language with experience in building web-app based tech products
- Good knowledge of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await
- Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Flask, Sanic, Fastapi would be plus
- Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Express.js, Koa.js, Socket.io
- Hands-on experience with Frontend codebases using HTML, CSS, and AJAX. Plus knowledge of Frontend Frameworks and Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - React.Js, Angular, Vue.js.
- Deep knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL
- Basic knowledge of event-based systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ
- You should have experience with deploying and scaling Microservices.
