Hitwicket is looking for a Passionate candidate who can build a world-class mobile gaming experience for a billion cricket fans. We value your hunger and creativity in helping us build Hitwicket.

Responsibilities:

• Good Knowledge in Sketching and Painting (BFA Preferable).Interpret concept art and sketches to create virtual characters, environments and props
• Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints
• Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members
• Optimize, refine and correct model geometry
• Rig models and characters for animation
• Color characters, add Textures and shade the given characters based on the material used
• Create textures that generate visual interest and define the characteristics.
• Generate the output within the time frame by understanding the desired output.
• Create a UV map and Occlusion map
• Work with artists, animators and programmers to execute projects on time
• Keep abreast with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modeling tools and technologies

Requirements

• Good Knowledge in Sketching and Painting (BFA Preferable).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D artist(Modeling and texturing)
• Good organization skills.
• Good Knowledge of 3D Modeling, Lighting and Rendering.
• Excellent knowledge of real-time modeling techniques (shaders, PBR, normal, displacement etc. )
• Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity.
• Strong high & low-resolution modeling and texturing skills.
• Good experience in the video game industry with 3D packages, preferably Maya or 3DSMax & ZBrush.
• Experience working on published mobile games would be a strong advantage.
• College Diploma/Degree in graphic design, 3D, video game development or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Employ user-centered design practices to deliver extraordinary interactive game experiences
• Research the latest practices & industry standards from the Top notch games to create world-class immersive experience for players
• Evaluate designs quickly and craft creative high quality work
• Excellent understanding of visual design principles, style guidelines, design processes, and creative workflow
• Develop UI, graphic design, and interaction specifications/guidelines
• Ability to take on design problems independently, present and sell design concepts
• Finding creative ways to solve UX problems.
• Interface, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the user experience reflects player needs and consistency.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years experience in UX Design.
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Photoshop and industry-standard prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, and Figma. 
• Experience in mobile interface design
• Strong portfolio of design projects.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of Unity 3D and motion design is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Real passion for gaming
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, interaction design, or equivalent industry experience in the design field.

Role & Responsibilities: 

A strong technologist at Hitwicket cares about code modularity, scalability and reusability and thrives in a complex and ambiguous environment.

1. Design and develop game features from prototype to full implementation
2. Have Strong Unity 3D programming skills on C#, JavaScript to craft cutting edge immersive
mobile gaming experience
3. Understand cross-platform development and client server applications to give Players a
seamless and fun mobile gaming experience
4. Implement game functionality by translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into
functional and engaging features in the game
5. Get involved in all areas of game development including Graphics, Game Logic, and User
Interface
6. Take ownership of the game and work closely with the Product and Design teams
7. Help maintain code quality by writing robust code to be used by millions of users
8. Develop crazy new experiences for our players and think outside the box to deliver
something new
9. Be proactive, support and contribute new ideas to game design.
10. Work experience of 4 - 10 years is preferable
11. Experience of team management is a plus
12. A broad skill set is a strength! We are a small team, so cross discipline skills are highly valued.
