AWS DevOps Engineer

Sell, Fulfil & Reconcile.

Using us, companies can: -

• Store their inventory in our fulfilment centers (FCs)

• Sell their products on multiple sales channels (online marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, and their own website)

• Get their orders processed within a defined SLA

• Reconcile payments against the sales company combines infrastructure and dedicated experts to give brands: accountability, peace of mind, and control over the ecommerce journey.

The company is working on a remarkable concept for running an E-commerce business- starting from establishing an online presence for many enterprises. It offers a combination of products and services to create a comprehensive platform and manage all aspects of running a brand online, including the development of an exclusive web store, handling logistics, integrating all marketplaces and so on.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our Centre of Excellence to build and scale effective software solutions for our Ecommerce Domain.

Wondering what your Responsibilities would be?

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

• Provide full support to the software development teams to deploy, run and roll out new services and new capabilities in Cloud infrastructure

• Implement CI/CD and DevOps best practices for software application teams and assist in executing the integration and operation processes

• Build proactive monitoring and alerting infrastructure services to support operations and system health

• Be hands-on in developing prototypes and conducting Proof of Concepts

• Work in an agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other engineers to bring new solutions to the table

• Join the DevOps Chapter where you’ll have the opportunity to investigate and share information about technologies within the DevOps Engineering Community

What Makes you Eligible?

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering with appropriate experience

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as DevOps Engineer

• Experience in working with a DevOps culture, following Agile Software Development methodologies of Scrum

• Proven experience in source code management tools like Bitbucket and Git

• Solid experience in CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins

• Shown ability with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes) and repository tools like Artifactory

• Experience in Cloud architecture & provisioning

• Knowledge in Programming / Querying NoSQL databases

• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer across product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based

production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability

and security of production systems.

• Build, release and configuration management of production systems.

• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and

application domains.

• Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process

Work Experience

• AWS: 1-3 years’ experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g.

EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, Lambda) to

develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis

on best practice cloud security

Skill Set

• DevOps: Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon

AWS environment, including automation experience with configuration

management tools.

• Scripting Skills: Strong scripting (e.g. Python, shell scripting) and

automation skills.

• Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios).

• Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure

resource and application deployment issues.

• DB skills: Basic DB administration experience (RDS, MongoDB), experience

in setting up and managing AWS Aurora databases.

• ELK: Proficient in ELK setup

• GitHub: Experienced in maintain and administering of GitHub

• Accountable for proper backup and disaster recovery procedures.

• Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt

• Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new

skills.

• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts

- Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company

- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance

- Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to developer teams to build their cloud competencies

Certification A2 or any

Azure Component Provisioning.

Hands-on experience on configuring and troubleshooting application gateway firewall, load balancers, VM/Disk encryption, Azure vaults, network security group, web application firewalls.

Hands-on experience and troubleshooting on Azure Virtual Network Gateway, ExpressRoute,Azure chatbot services.

Hands-on experience on Azure Automation with hands skills in PowerShell.

Extensive knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.

Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems (Centos and Ubuntu).

Installing, Configuring and Managing AD / DHCP / DNS Services.

Creating Group Policies and implementation as per standard procedures.

Install, secure, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade Windows/Linux Server operating systems.

Knowledge of network architecture and design, network security, Web sites/Portal security and client/server security.

Experience with configuration management single sign on with azure active directory.

Server performance monitoring and apply the solution to increase the performance if needed.

Cost management and cost analysis.

Backup and disaster recovery administration.

SSL/App services certificates configuration with Linux and windows-based websites/portals.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
• Experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration.
• Knowledge in managing databases such as My SQL, MS SQL.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
• Knowledge in open-source technologies and cloud services like AWS, Azure is a plus. Candidates willing to learn will be preferred.
