Role & Responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer - 3, Backend Engineer at company, you will play a critical role in architecting, designing, and delivering robust backend systems that power our platform. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership-

System Architecture and Design-

• Contribute to an advocate for a DevOps culture, supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Collaboration and Communication-

• Act as a liaison between the backend team and other technical and non-technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong Java Backend Engineer.
• Must have 5+ years of backend development with strong focus on Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• Must have been SDE-2 for at least 2.5 years
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, and async programming
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ and Redis/Memcached
• Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with a strong understanding of Capital Markets to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide insights into trading, risk, and financial performance. This role requires experience working with capital market data sets and a solid grasp of financial instruments and market operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to capital markets (e.g., equities, derivatives, fixed income).
• Connect to and integrate data from various sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, SQL databases, and Excel.
• Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Work closely with business stakeholders (trading, risk, compliance) to understand KPIs and analytics needs.
• Implement row-level security and data access controls.
• Maintain data quality, lineage, and versioning documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling).

The trainer will be responsible for designing curriculum, preparing content, conducting interactive sessions, and guiding learners in developing end-to-end projects.

• Can solve problems independently, be responsible for the requirement analysis and design implementation of important business modules, and be familiar with the online deployment environment, able to independently analyse and quickly troubleshoot online faults.

• Familiar with JAVA programming principles, understand their advanced features and class libraries, network and server programming, multi-threaded programming, common open source products
• Experience in SOA EIP using Apache Camel Spring Integration

• High quality coding ability, reusability, low coupling, scalability, high performance, maintainability, high security

• Have the architectural design capabilities of modules and subsystems, master common architectural design methods and patterns

• Understand SOA, event-driven, distributed system principles, large-scale network application structure, message middleware, caching, load balancing, clustering technology, data synchronization, NoSQL
