You will be working on complex data migrations, modernizing legacy applications and building new applications on the cloud for large enterprise and/or growth stage startups. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly into mission critical projects directly interacting with business stakeholders, customers technical teams and MongoDB solutions Architects.

Location - Chennai or Bangalore

• Relevant experience of 7+ years building high-performance back-end applications with at least 3 or more projects delivered using the required technologies
• Good problem solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Technical Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience building high-performance web back-ends using Node.Js and Javascript/Typescript
• Min two years of hands-on experience in NestJs
• Strong experience with Express.Js framework
• Implementation experience in monolithic and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with data modeling on MongoDB and any other Relational or NoSQL databases
• Experience integrating with any 3rd party services such as cloud SDKs (Preferable X), payments, push notifications, authentication etc…
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka, or X
• Exposure into unit testing with frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jest or others
• Strong experience writing and maintaining clear documentation

Good to have skills:

• Experience working with common services in any of the major cloud providers - AWS or GCP or Azure
• Technical certifications in AWS / Azure / GCP / MongoDB or other relevant technologies

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Social Media Specialist at Digeesell, you’ll get to work with our marketing team to help develop brand awareness about our company through social media.  

Your responsibilities at digeesell 

• Write long- and short-form social media messages that attract new users and engage current users. 
• Use data to analyze what’s working, what’s not, and reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly. 

• Wear many hats as you work with multiple teams to develop strategy, work with designers, write copy, manage social communities, and analyze data. 
• Help convert brand fans into loyal customers with engaging, responsive, responsible, surprising, and captivating social media interactions. 
• Design and monitor business performance goals to drive brand awareness. 
• Observe and analyze market and competitor trends. 
• Monitor the quality and integrity of products and services, and respond as needed to ensure brand alignment. 

• Strategize media plans for different platforms.

        Required Candidate profile: 

• 1.5 + years of experience in the social media specialist role. 
• Excellent communication Skills 
• MBA in Marketing or similar background 
• Good Presentation skills

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related technical or analytical field or equivalent practical experience. Relevant experience of at least 3 years in lieu of above if from a different stream of education.

• 1+ year of hands-on programming experience in PL/pgSQL & SQL Programming.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with analyzing business & data requirements from customers.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with modeling techniques viz., BPMN, UML, ERD, & other Visual Modeling techniques.

• Extensive knowledge & working experience with SQL, detailed data profiling using Informatica/Talend or similar tools, reporting & data visualization using Tableau/Spotfire/QlikView etc.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including in-cell formulas, pivot tables, basic macros, and other data manipulation and formatting functions is required.

• Familiarity with Database Read vs. Write Performance Tuning & Optimization.

• Familiarity with Virtualization & Containerization, API Management, Identity & Access Management, System Monitoring & Management, Data Protection & Encryption.

• Familiarity with Lean, Agile, & DevOps Practices, Processes, & Tools.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, & Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Storage, Networks and Storage Networking basics.

• Familiarity with Network, Data, and Application Security basics.

• Understanding product features, preparing technical documentation.
• Take ownership over project timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute to the design, architecture and build of our Core Platform.
• Help scale the platform and build out new features.
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Self-directed, but also work well with other engineers.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Anticipate future technical needs and craft plans to realize them, and balance feature development with investments in tech debt reduction.
• The ability to combine speed and quality and that you can achieve both at same time.

• Design and develop solutions to complex technical problems spanning the development of product features, quality validation, and deployment to customers

• 4+ years of experience building large scalable systems
• Strong experience in agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience in software development using open source technologies
• Knowledge in domain-driven design, design patterns, and enterprise integration patterns
• Must have experience in delivering software via complete Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline

• A history of working on side/hobby projects or contributing to open source projects is a plus
