Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer specializing in GCP Cloud Infrastructure Management and Kafka Administration. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Kafka, with a mandatory Kafka certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
· Manage and update Kubernetes (K8s) on GKE.
· Monitor and optimize K8s resources, including pods, storage, memory, and costs.
· Oversee the general monitoring and maintenance of environments using:
o OpenSearch / Kibana
o KafkaUI
o BGP
o Grafana / Prometheus
Kafka Administration:
· Manage Kafka brokers and ACLs.
· Hands-on experience in Kafka administration (preferably Confluent Kafka).
· Independently debug, optimize, and implement Kafka solutions based on developer and business needs.
Other Responsibilities:
· Perform random investigations to troubleshoot and enhance infrastructure.
