• Build scalable and reliable backend services and APIs that power the product.
• Design, implement, and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient retrieval. 
• Implement the core logic that makes applications work, handling data processing, user requests, and system operations. 
• Contribute actively to system architecture, proposing enhancements and leading design discussions for new features and services.
• Working closely with product managers and designers to turn ideas into reality and shape the product roadmap. 
• Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and security 
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and frameworks, contributing to the advancement of software development practices 
• Drive code quality through writing unit tests, code reviews, and documentation.
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature development — from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor junior developers, setting high standards for engineering excellence within the team.

What skills do you need? 

• Extensive (Must have) hands-on experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, backend development using Node.js and Express.js, and database management with MySQL.
• Strong command of JavaScript and understanding of its quirks and best practices
• Exposure to system design and interest in building scalable, high-availability systems.
• Experience from a high-growth product-based startup is a must-have.
• Ability to think strategically when designing systems—not just how to build, but why
• Prior work on B2C applications with a focus on performance and user experience
• Ensure that applications can handle increasing loads and maintain performance, even under heavy traffic 
• Work with complex queries for performing sophisticated data manipulation, analysis, and reporting. 
• Knowledge of Sequelize, MongoDB, and AWS would be an advantage. 
• Experience in optimizing backend systems for speed and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

❖ Engage with clients through outbound calls and follow up on potential leads to drive conversions.

❖ Understand client requirements and proactively identify relevant sales opportunities.

Main tasks

• Supervision of the CI/CD process for the automated builds and deployments of web services and web applications as well as desktop tool in the cloud and container environment
• Responsibility of the operations part of a DevOps organization especially for development at LS telcom in the environment of container technology and orchestration, e.g. with Kubernetes
• Installation, operation and monitoring of web applications in cloud data centers for the purpose of development of the test as well as for the operation of an own productive cloud as LS service
• Implementation of installations of the LS system solution especially in the container context
• Introduction, maintenance and improvement of installation solutions for LS development in the desktop and server environment as well as in the cloud and with on-premise Kubernetes
• Maintenance of the system installation documentation and implementation of trainings

Execution of internal software tests and support of involved teams and stakeholders

• Hands on Experience with Azure DevOps.

Qualification profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics or comparable qualification
• Experience in software
• Installation and administration of Linux and Windows systems including network and firewalling aspects
• Experience with build and deployment automation with tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Argo or similar as well as system scripting (Bash, Power-Shell, etc.)
• Interest in operation and monitoring of applications in virtualized and containerized environments in cloud and on-premise
• Server environments, especially application, web-and database servers
• Knowledge in VMware/K3D/Rancer is an advantage
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English

• Work with developers to build out CI/CD pipelines, enable self-service build tools and reusable deployment jobs. Find, explore, and advocate for new technologies for enterprise use.
• Automate the provisioning of environments
• Promote new DevOps tools to simplify the build process and entire Continuous Delivery.
• Manage a Continuous Integration and Deployment environment.
• Coordinate and scale the evolving build and cloud deployment systems across all product development teams.

Technical Skills

• Experience with AWS multi-region/multi-AZ deployed systems, auto-scaling of EC2 instances, CloudFormation, ELBs, VPCs, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, Route53, RDS, IAM roles, security groups, cloud watch
• Experience in Data Visualization and Monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana
• Experienced in Build and CI/CD/CT technologies like GitHub, Chef, Artifactory, Hudson/Jenkins
• Experience with log collection, filter creation, and analysis, builds, and performance monitoring/tuning of infrastructure.
• Automate the provisioning of environments pulling strings with Puppet, cooking up some recipes with Chef, or through Ansible, and the deployment of those environments using containers, like Docker or Rocket: (have at least some configuration management tool through some version control).

Qualifications:

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.C.A in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 60% in Graduation and Post-Graduation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
