About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Sales Representative with a proven track record in B2B IT / SaaS Sales to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will manage end-to-end sales cycles — driving outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals. If you are proactive, thrive in a target-driven environment, and excel at translating technical value into clear business ROI for decision-makers, we'd love to connect.
This role requires hands-on field sales experience — you should be comfortable meeting clients in person, conducting on-site visits, and closing deals face-to-face in addition to remote/virtual selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation & Prospecting: Execute strategic outbound outreach (cold emailing, LinkedIn networking, cold calling, and in-person field visits) targeting mid-market and enterprise decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, Heads of Sales/Marketing, Founders).
- Inbound Lead Conversion: Promptly engage, qualify, and convert marketing-generated inbound leads into active sales opportunities.
- Product Discovery & Demo: Conduct consultative discovery calls and on-site/in-person product walkthroughs to identify prospect pain points and deliver tailored demos.
- Field Sales & Client Visits: Travel for client meetings, site visits, and relationship-building activities within Mumbai and surrounding regions as required.
- Negotiation & Closing: Build commercial proposals, lead contract negotiations, manage objection handling, and consistently close deals to meet/exceed quarterly quota targets.
- CRM & Pipeline Hygiene: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all deals, activities, and forecasts in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot / Salesforce).
- Market Feedback: Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to share customer feedback, competitive insights, and market trends.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. graduate is mandatory. (A technical/engineering background helps in translating product capability into client-facing business value.)
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of direct selling experience in B2B Tech / IT Services / SaaS, with demonstrated field sales exposure (on-site client visits, in-person demos/negotiations — not purely remote/inside sales).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas and pipeline generation targets.
- Sales Acumen: Strong grasp of consultative and solution-selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, BANT, SPIN).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Mindset: Highly self-motivated, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, willing to travel locally for client meetings, and able to work independently.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai.

- Track record of building and owning critical platforms or systems from scratch
- Exposure to high-volume transactional systems; fintech or lending is a strong plus
- Bias for action - moves fast, makes sound decisions, owns outcomes end-to-end
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities in a startup environment
