Job Description – Sales Executive (Construction ERP Solutions)

We are a leading provider of Construction ERP Software designed for builders, contractors, infrastructure companies, RMC plants, equipment & vehicle owners, and developers. Our ERP platform helps construction businesses streamline operations across finance, procurement, project management, equipment management, HR & payroll, and inventory control.

We are looking for a Sales Professional with strong domain knowledge in construction, infrastructure, or equipment industries who can drive ERP sales and build lasting client relationships.

Role: Sales Executive - Construction ERP

Location: Indore, Hyderabad

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports To: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities for Construction ERP solutions within construction, RMC, heavy equipment, infra, and real estate companies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers such as Project Heads, CFOs, Purchase Managers, Equipment Owners, and MDs.
• Understand customer pain points in project management, equipment utilization, billing, contractor management, and reporting, and position ERP as the right solution.
• Conduct client meetings, product demos, and presentations to showcase ERP features and benefits.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Collaborate with the presales, implementation, and support teams for smooth onboarding of clients.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Background: Prior experience in sales within Construction, Infrastructure, RMC, Heavy Equipment, or related industries. (Candidates from ERP/SaaS sales in construction domain preferred.)
• Experience: 2–5 years of B2B sales experience.
• Strong understanding of construction workflows, equipment/vehicle usage, procurement, contractor & labor management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to connect with senior stakeholders and convert long sales cycles into closures.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel for client meetings.

Project Overview: We are looking for expert level Postgres database developer to work on a software application development project for a fortune 500 US based telecom client. The application is web based and used across multiple teams to support their business processes. The developer will be responsible for developing various components of the Postgres database and for light administration of the database.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with onshore, offshore and other team members to understand the user stories and develop code. Develop and execute scripts to unit test. Collaborate with onshore developers, product owner and the client team to perform work in an integrated manner.

Experience preferred:

• Extensive experience in Postgres database development (expert level)
• Experience in Postgres administration.
• Must have working experience with GIS data functionality
• Experience handling large datasets (50-100M tables)
• Preferred – exposure to Azure or AWS
• Must have skillsets for database performance tuning
• Familiarity with web applications
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Experience working cohesively in integrated teams
• Good interpersonal, communication, documentation and presentation skills.
• Prior experience working in agile environments
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, Business Analysts and Developers

Requirements

• You have been building production web applications for 5+ years and know the systems from top to bottom
• You know SQL and have significant programming experience on the frontend with React
• You have a BS/MS/Ph.D. in a scientific field or equivalent experience
• You want to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers
• Comfortable working with a 100% distributed engineering team, collaborating on GitHub, Slack, Zoom, etc. in the open and as a self-starter.

Bonus points

• You have backend experience building microservices
• You’ve contributed to open-source libraries and actively participate in the development community (blogging, meetups, tweeting, etc.)
• You have experience building interactive data visualizations
• You have worked in TypeScript, Java, Go

• 2-5 years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing Web based,desktop and mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery etc).
•  Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python,C#) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Experience in React.js .

• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL,Postgresql, MongoDB), web servers (e.g.Apache) and UI/UX design .
