SFCC (Demandware) Developer

Roles And Responsibilities:

Taking the lead in driving inquiries and admissions for the online learning programs provided by HeyCoach.

Overseeing the complete sales life cycle, which includes engaging with a substantial number of qualified leads and guiding them through the enrollment process until final conversion.

Providing counseling and guidance to experienced professionals through phone or email interactions, assisting them in identifying courses that align with their career progression, and recommending the most suitable options.

Requirements

Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with technology-driven products and solutions.

Prior experience in successfully handling sales or business development with deals or transactions of a value exceeding 20,000 units of currency.

A minimum of 1-6 years of experience in the EdTech industry business-to-consumer (B2C) sales.

Demonstrating excellent proficiency in both verbal and written English communication is essential, knowing regional languages will be the cherry on the cake.

Having basic knowledge or preliminary experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is preferred.

Requirements:

● Understanding our data sets and how to bring them together.

● Working with our engineering team to support custom solutions offered to the product development.

● Filling the gap between development, engineering and data ops.

● Creating, maintaining and documenting scripts to support ongoing custom solutions.

● Excellent organizational skills, including attention to precise details

● Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

● 5+ years experience with Python to develop scripts.

● Know your way around RESTFUL APIs.[Able to integrate not necessary to publish]

● You are familiar with pulling and pushing files from SFTP and AWS S3.

● Experience with any Cloud solutions including GCP / AWS / OCI / Azure.

● Familiarity with SQL programming to query and transform data from relational Databases.

● Familiarity to work with Linux (and Linux work environment).

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Extracting, transforming, and loading data into internal databases and Hadoop

● Optimizing our new and existing data pipelines for speed and reliability

● Deploying product build and product improvements

● Documenting and managing multiple repositories of code

● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Casendra, MySQL)

● Hands-on experience in data pipelining and ETL. (Any of these frameworks/tools: Hadoop, BigQuery,

RedShift, Athena)

● Hands-on experience in AirFlow

● Understanding of best practices, common coding patterns and good practices around

● storing, partitioning, warehousing and indexing of data

● Experience in reading the data from Kafka topic (both live stream and offline)

● Experience in PySpark and Data frames

Job Overview

• Our internal tech team is responsible for end-to-end in-house tech support which includes and is not limited to design, development & deployment.

• As we are in the Fintech space, our team has to ensure the database security of the application.

Job Summary:

• Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters including design, development, testing, and maintenance of the existing application with minimal supervision.
• Work on optimization and performance improvement activities. Instrument and test performance metrics.
• Participate in peer-to-peer code review to improve the quality and maintenance of the codebase.
• Collaboration with multiple internal/external stakeholders such as product, business, DBA, and Dev Ops.
• Design and implement APIs for web/mobile (both Andriod & iOS) applications.
• To be available on call for the projects or features developed by you. Things break, you will be responsible to fix it when it does.

Experience & Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience (we are hiring freshers too for junior positions)
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of engineering end-to-end systems.
• Understanding of complete software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews.
• Familiarity with multiple software development practices and tools
• Ability to write clean, modular, and loosely coupled code by the use of design patterns.
• Proficiency in the implementation of algorithms and the use of advanced data structures to solve problems in computing.
• A solid foundation and implementing principles of computer science is a must. Ex: object-oriented programming, concurrency, fundamentals of computer science, SQL databases.

• Working knowledge of payment gateways 
• Good knowledge of Mysql Query optimization and Database design. 

• UNIX / LINUX - 2 to 5 years’ experience
• DB design - 2 to 5 years’ experience.
• Team Lead - 2 to 5 years’ experience managing a team size of 8 - 12 persons.
• Overall experience in managing platforms across web & mobile developments, ability to conduct scrum meets, allocate & monitor work.
• The candidate should have an overall experience of 7 to 10 years, with a combination of the above.
• Strong team management skills, ability to drive the team & meet the deliveries.
