*Technical Responsibilities*

1. Work closely with the Founders to plan and develop the architecture and engineering vision for the product.
2. Roll out and advocate for new engineering principles and processes while supporting, maintaining, and updating existing ones.
3. With the help of your team members, educate and execute on Software Engineering best practices for testing, deploying, and developing code.
4. Be ready to roll up sleeves to assist your team when there are most urgent, difficult or critical developments to produce
5. Drive the apt technology choices (e.g. languages, libraries, frameworks)
6. Layout the technology architecture for both immediate and long term growth

*Experience*

1. You have 7+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
2. You have significant experience working on a SAAS-based platform.
3. You have experience architecting enterprise Blockcahin applications (Any Blockchain framework is fine but Hyperledger will be preferred)
4. You have a strong technical background and are able to contribute to design and development across the software product lifecycle
5. You are familiar with our tech stack (Hyperledger/Nodejs / ReactJs / PostgreSQL / AWS / Linux)
6. You are familiar with implementing organizational processes using tools like Jira / Git / Slack etc.
7. You've worked on large-scale SaaS products and can rapidly familiarize yourself with complex products.
8. You have a strong focus on metrics and know how to measure the health of engineering teams.

Strategic and Development Responsibilities

Education

MS SQL 2012 Server Administrator, with experience of data migration projects using SSRS, SSIS packages. Needs to have a very strong and credible record as a DBA, experience of handling enterprise Data Base migration projects preferably in a financial or banking arena. Provide hands on support to our internal DBA and development teams. Strong knowledge of database design, query cost and performance measurement, use of stored procedures and performance tuning. Experience in using Integration Services (SSIS) platform for building high performance data integration and workflow solutions, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) operations. Will provide database functions by designing and coding utilities and scripts Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases and completing maintenance requirements. Provides information by answering questions and making recommendations. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Level 3 Contractor-to-Fulltime-Programmer Role:

Must have 1-2 years (ideally 12 to 30 months) of post-collegiate professional programming experience at a top SaaS company in React, Typescript, Javascript working within Visual Studio Code and Yarn, leveraging superior techniques with Routing, Components, State, and Props to deliver elegant consumer applications based on dynamic data.

Ability to translate user story completely into exceptional functionality that consistently meets acceptance criteria and delights users.  Ability to convert complex workflows into elegant experiences highly prized.

Experience with Firebase, Firestore, MongoDB, Heroku and other Cloud-based technologies to deliver scalable, performant data-driven applications, with deployments on Kubernetes.  Ideally experienced working with colleagues over Discord.

Ability to exhibit judgment to independently author test suite and testing scripts to evaluate code additions, ensuring no regressions in functionality or user experience.

Proficiency in translating complex mathematical concepts into effective data structures and programming practices.  Personal pleasure in solving mathematical puzzles elegantly is a huge plus.
