Job Summary

·        1. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of meeting the quality, cost, and lead time requirements for new products.

·        2 Establish strong relationships with suppliers and ensure they are aligned with project goals and deadlines.

· 3 Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to understand the specifications, timelines, and requirements for new product launches.

· 4 Develop a procurement plan based on product development timelines, ensuring that materials and components are sourced in time for production.

·        5. Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, goods, and services as required by different departments.

·        6 Negotiate cost terms, pricing, and lead times with suppliers for new product materials.

·        7. Work to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or production timelines.

·        8. Ensure that favorable payment terms are agreed upon with suppliers.

·        9 Monitor purchasing budgets and assist in cost control initiatives.

· 10 Prepare purchase reports and analysis for management, tracking purchase trends, supplier performance, and cost savings.

· 11 Negotiate cost terms, pricing, and lead times with suppliers for new product materials.

·        12 Place purchase orders for materials and components required for the new product development/production.

·        13. Ensure the timely delivery of all materials required for prototype builds, testing, and full production.

·        14. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers

· 15 Monitor supplier performance to ensure materials meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

·        16. Address any supplier issues or non-conformities and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.

· 17 Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding product quality, delivery delays, or pricing.

Qualifications & Experience: -

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent degree and experience).
• 2+ years providing customer-facing technical support (ITOM applications).
• Good Communication Skills.

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

• Ability to comprehend, modify server-side object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and PowerShell.
• Ability in server administration across OS platforms (Windows/Unix). Including understanding of user permission levels, domain configuration, group policy objects and execution of SUDO Policies.
• Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP and REST, Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Traceroute.
• Strong troubleshooting/root cause isolation skills
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
• Must be proficient with analyzing log files and standard debugging concepts.
• Familiarity with tools & practices of the trade such as incident management, knowledge base, defect & escalation management.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Preferred: - 

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming skills (Java strongly preferred)
• A fundamental understanding of ITOM, CMDB and ITIL business process. 
• Experience providing web development support is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working with the ServiceNow platform (Asset Management, Orchestration, Discovery, Mid Server, BSM Map & Service Mapping).
• Understanding of JavaScript or any other scripting language with logical approach for given problem statement.
• Previous experience in software development(or) software consulting.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting infrastructure level issues.
