Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience 
• Capable of independently conducting various aspects of business analysis, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation. 
• Proactive in identifying and prioritizing issues within their domain and taking the initiative to work with the team to resolve them.
• Strong background in accounting and/or financial controlling 
• Demonstrates a high level of skill and independence
• Understands the full business analysis lifecycle and is proficient in handling various business problems and custom cases.
• Good knowledge of English
• Experience in accounting and business analysis in the IT industry is highly desirable 
• Working knowledge of software development concepts, technologies, practices, and principles, and the ability to use them in different situations independently

Duties and responsibilities:

• Works closely with the development team and other stakeholders to investigate model business functions, business processes, information flows, and data structures
• Investigate operational issues, problems, and new opportunities; seek effective business solutions through improvements in aspects of business areas or systems of interest
• Assists in the analysis of underlying issues and their root causes, and identifies available options
• Communicates with clients and other stakeholders and assists in presenting issues and solutions both verbally and in writing
• Specifies data, data objects, and information flows that align with the needs of the business
• Produces business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles in line with company standards

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, database management, and data architecture, with a passion for building robust and efficient data systems

What you will do

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
3. Optimise data processing and storage solutions for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
4. Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.

What we need

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
4. Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, BigQuery) and data warehousing concepts.
5. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
6. Familiarity with data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of exp of strong experience with ecommerce or in a digital marketing agency managing ecommerce brands.

• Paid digital media and performance marketing across Google, Facebook, Instagram and some exposure to SEO would be bonus
• Good to have exposure of handling budget of upwards of 50L a month
