We are looking for an experienced Product Mager who can drive our journey to make KahaniBox the largest interactive fiction platform globally. You would be collaborating while working 100% remotely in flexible timings.
You’d be responsible for
- Improving core metrics like retention and time spent per month. KahaniBox aims to become an entertainment platform that people can use for years.
- Revamping our mobile player app, website, internal dashboard, and other tools.
- Focusing on the player journey, managing the overall UX and laying out the UI - overseeing the quality, design, mechanics, production, and delivery of the end game products.
- Consistently thinking of ways to use data and making iterations to provide the best user experience.
- Converting business requirements into a well-defined product backlog.
You Have:
- 3-6 years of product management experience around consumer mobile app or mobile game.
- Extraordinary data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Passion towards storytelling.
- Excellent wireframing and product specification skills.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit. Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win.
Bonus points if you
- Have experience in the mobile game industry and Unity game engine.
- Can code in at least 1 language.
- Have managed a startup before

We are looking for experienced Full Stack Developers - the ones who would help us in making KahaniBox the largest interactive fiction platform globally. You would be maintaining/fixing/improving our existing and new front-end and back-end solutions while working 100% remotely in flexible timings.
Required at least 2+ years of experience in -
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript (ES6)
- Vue.js (or an equivalent frontend framework, e.g. React/Angular)
- Node.js
- Google Cloud Platform (or any other e.g. AWS/Azure, etc).
Ideal candidate will also be experienced in
- BAAS (Firebase or equivalent) and good understanding of serverless architectures.
- RESTFul API Consumption and Development.
- Testing (unit and integration).
- Comfortable with CI, continuous deployment, Git, and project management tools.
- Experience setting up and data mining Analytics databases.
Bonus points if you have experience with TypeScript.

We are looking for an Engineering Head to join our founding team and drive the vision and architecture for scaling KahaniBox to 100M+ monthly users.
You will:
- Recruit and manage world-class engineering talent both in India and abroad.
- Lead the development of our content creation engine, recommendation engine, and content insight engine.
- Prototype and implement new product ideas and initiatives around increasing revenue, user retention, content consumption, etc.
- Implement and continuously improve processes for high-velocity engineering, including DevOps, testing, CI/CD, PRs, etc.
- Keep technical debt under control by reinforcing and evolving our engineering culture, which values code reviews, high test coverage, and adequate documentation.
You have:
- 7+ years of engineering experience in scaling, optimizing, and rewriting significant systems. Bonus points for gaming/media-tech experience.
- 3+ years of team management experience.
- Strong team-building and empowering skills - you excel in hiring and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
- Exceptional competencies in data structures, algorithms, software design, and OOP.
- Experience with at least one Cloud Providers: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience in building data pipelines and implementing event-driven architectures.
- Strong bias to ship early and iterate quickly with data.
- Intermediate understanding of Machine Learning.

- Android and iOS development

- Objective-C/Swift - specifically for writing native iOS plugins
