We are a full-stack conversational AI company from building products to delivering bots for our clients. We are looking for a front-end engineer who can help us build the next generation of enterprise-grade conversational AI platform.

What will you do every day?

As a front-end tech lead you will be responsible for building the Haptik platform which is used by people across the globe. You will be working closely with the product, design and platform team on a day to day basis and be responsible for the look and feel of the product. While you know how to work hard, you also know how to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues.

Ok, you're sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate?

- Have a keen eye for detail and passionate about UI and UX

- Has worked with a team of FE engineers to set tech processes and standards.

- Has experience in mentoring junior engineers.

- Have a solid understanding of front-end technologies especially React

- Build, maintain and gate-keep the platform tools

- Work closely with the PM and designers to deliver high-quality features

- Work closely with the backend engineers to understand the Interkat Platform and build for scale

- High-level estimating and scoping/breaking down of tasks

- Document features to make them easily understandable to clients

- Participate in code reviews, automated and functional testing, and other aspects of our quality assurance process

- Use and promote standard good coding practices

- Fully participate in a scrum-based, agile development team

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices

- Work experience around optimizing build artifacts and performance monitoring

- Following security standards when using cookies/others to store user information etc.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience working on React.js

- Prior experience of leading/mentoring a team is a plus

- Knowledge of flux and redux

- Must have extensive experience working on Javascript, HTML, CSS, animations and UI/UX principles.

- Knowledge of backend technologies is a plus

- Good attention to detail, pixel perfect designs

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent

- Good Communication skills

- Hustler with the passion for writing good code

- Team player

- Must have experience in working in an agile environment, exposure to tools like Jira would be an added benefit.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

1. This is a front-line Sales position in the ESA Cards Sales team, and is responsible for driving business, achieving monthly sales targets and acquiring new customers through consultative. selling of our card’s products via defined channels of acquisition [Retail, Corporate, Venue-sales].
2. Prospecting for new customers through existing leads and cold calling and maximizing lead generation.
3. Timely execution of all sales activities leads, campaigns, referrals & any self-generated leads.
4. Tracking and reporting sales performance including pipeline, acquisition results and market conditions.
5. Set appointments, listen to customer needs, and sell the most appropriate product.
6. Researches and understands prospects before making the call.
7. Ensures all applications are fully and accurately completed, and submitted properly.
8. Be the interface between Annex and the customer to resolve any application processing issues.
9. Drive the on-boarding of new customers and initiate spend enablement activities.
10. Keep up-to-date on products and competition.
11. Attend and participate in regular staff meetings.
12. Engages in regular portfolio planning to determine areas of focus & project accurate full year.

• Responsible for making specialized plans and procedures for different offices and the IT groups, creating answers for the location of any far-reaching issues, and making their procedures progressively effective.
• Providing training to other junior developers and managing them to process tasks efficiently
• Work with various internal offices, including promotions, project improvements, and tasks to ensure that Salesforce status supports internal requirements by identifying usefulness and fulfillment.
• Application development for other peer developers
• Responsible for updating and making changes to already existing applications or making new ones according to client needs.

• Develop product vision and key-value props for owned areas (strategy & roadmap). Drive alignment and excitement, aligning priorities and executing plans. Lead product development by collaborating with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, business development managers, marketers, and other product leads.
• Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, including problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, roadmap execution, customer needs, designs, product requirement documents
• Ensure accountability with Engineering (Internal/Vendor) on strict adherence to timelines & processes.
• Lead connection of technical and business worlds by breaking down complex problems into a roadmap and steps that drive product development.
• Understand markets, competition, and products in-depth to create clarity and drive the right set of requirements and specifications.
• Anticipate customers’ needs and market opportunities to drive improvements. Show empathy for customers, be sensitive to their needs and drive the feature team to deliver a great customer experience. Research and user test prototypes to maximise user satisfaction and performance
• Develop, cultivate and share thought leadership in emerging and trending technology areas.
• Define success criteria and performance metrics and drive telemetry requirements to measure results. Define, monitor, and analyse metrics for launched products and feed feedback into the product development process.
• An obsession with technology - pro-activeness in exploring and understanding the potential of technology and how to convert it to solve innate consumer needs
• Good in data-driven analytical skills and able to operate with partial information and ambiguity.
• Design thinking (UIUX), user empathy and deep understanding of Indian customers

• 4 to 8 years experience, including product experience, preferably in a fast-paced B2C internet/e-commerce/Edtech company
• B- Tech and MBA or equivalent experience (or equivalent industry experience)

• Track record of exhibiting technical depth and quick ramp-up on new products and technologies
• Ability to assume end-to-end ownership of large features and initiatives
• Proficiency in end-to-end innovation, planning, organizing, and executing.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, can-do attitude and great at dealing with ambiguity
• Experience collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams
• Experience in identifying, analysing and interpreting data to make data-led product decisions

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer II (SDE2) to help deliver high visibility and impact features for the ChakraHQ Platform. ChakraHQ Platform is the world's first Omnichannel Process Automation Platform. Imagine AWS but for operations and business teams; built on cutting edge technology stacks, to solve problems for modern businesses.

Technology specialists at ChakraHQ are at the core of the company's decisions and vision. As an SDE2, you will contribute to the design and development of the core technology stack of the ChakraHQ Platform. Working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Customer Success you will take ownership to develop features, plugins and custom fixes that will materially impact customer’s and ChakraHQ’s business. You will also be responsible for maintaining a streamlined build and CI/CD system. You will help coordinate the incorporation of upstream features into the ChakraHQ Platform. 

Technologies you will work with: React, Javascript, Android, iOS, PostgreSQL, Serverless, AWS, Google Cloud

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain features, services, products that are part of ChakraHQ
• Own delivery of said features and services
• Own success of the products by tracking its lifecycle with customers
• Build systems that scale horizontally
• Implement clean and modern mobile interfaces that provide an excellent user experience. 
• Write automated tests to ensure code quality
• Work with customers to build a product roadmap
• Work with sales & marketing to sell your product to end-users
• Work as an integral part of an agile software development team to build features end-to-end
• Support those features in the ChakraHQ production environment by participating in an on-call rotation

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. 
• 3+ years of experience working on teams to develop and deploy web or mobile applications
• Expertise with Javascript
• Knowledge of frameworks such as React.js is a big plus
• Ability to write code compatible across browsers and other clients
• Good understanding of backend systems i.e. web services, APIs from a consumer perspective
• Proficiency with git and Github workflows
• Expertise with test-driven development and automated testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
• Open to learn and work on new technologies

The Role

Based in Jaipur or Pune, you will be working in a collaborative team on cutting edge technologies in a supportive and dynamic environment. Ultimately you are responsible for building the CODI and on-boarding new clients - this involves:

• Developing a good understanding of the solutions which Peak delivers, and how these link to Peak’s overall strategy.
• Making suggestions towards shaping the strategy for a feature and engineering design.
• Managing own workload and usually delivering unsupervised. Accountable for their own workstream or the work of a small team.  
• Understanding Engineering priorities and is able to focus on these, helping others to remain focussed too
• Acting as the Lead Engineer on a project. Helps ensure others follow Peak processes, such as release and version control.
• An active member of the team, through useful contributions to projects and in team meetings.
• Supervising others. Deputising for a Lead and/or support them with tasks. Mentoring new joiners/interns and Masters students. Sharing knowledge and learnings with the team.

Required Skills and Experience

We are building a team of world class engineers in Jaipur, essentially we are looking for bright, talented engineers looking to work at the cutting edge of practical AI.

• Acquired strong proven professional Front End Development experience.
• Proven track record and experience working on Javascript and front end frameworks like React (preferred) and Angular
• Knowledge and experience working with Node.js, Go or any other back end programming language is a plus .
• Experience of turning UI/UX designs to applications and keen interest in the UI/UX side of an application. 
• Able to build prototypes quickly and work with the product teams to test a concept. 
• Demonstrable experience in building front end or UI/UX development practices in previous jobs. 
• Building and implementing a product on cloud based infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Microservice Architecture, Cloud Technologies, CI/CD and Serverless.
• Ability to document requirements and specifications.
• A naturally inquisitive and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong experience in using Agile Methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum to build quality software.
• Good communication skills.
