Role: Backend Developer (2 openings)

Technology Profile-

The candidate must have experience in the following technologies (the more the better):

Backend:

Languages and Frameworks: PHP, NodeJS, Python, etc.

Database: MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Neo4j, etc.

Extra: OAuth, Firebase

 

Requirements:

• Ability to reuse components
• Proven experience in working with Git and Github 
• Creating and consuming a RESTful API
• You must have clear concepts of client-server architecture
• Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) design patterns
• Working experience with NoSQL and relational databases
• Understanding of OOP concepts

 

Furthermore, the candidate must have built or published any web app or project through which they can demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the aforementioned technologies and requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience: 1. Should have minimum 6 months - 1 year of Magento development experience 2. Knowledge of Magento plug-in / extension development using object oriented PHP & Magento API’s. 3. Experience working with the MVC design pattern and source control (GIT) 4. Exposure of PHP, Zend framework (a plus) 5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 6. Should have exposure to address cross platform issues and responsiveness 7. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proven working experience in backend app development and experience with Node JS.
• Build advanced ecommerce backend applications for the multiple client platforms (both React and Android).
• Understanding of design principles and good architecture patterns.
• Proper Data Structures and Algorithm knowledge is a must.
• Graph QL and Apollo Server knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs like the one of Unicommerce.
• Create Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Have a good understanding of CI/CD tools (any).
• Robust knowledge of popular databases like MongoDB, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, Redis etc;
• Knowledge about AWS Services like EC2, Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift, S3 is super plus.

1. Responsible for designing, developing and implementing applications.
2. Responsible for doing customer API integrations and other integrations required to onboard new e-commerce marketplaces, logistic providers, ERP and accounting systems. 3. Responsible to write code for API integrations, perform debugging tasks, do application tests, do configuration and code reviews to ensure the product is satisfactory.
  The candidate would provide the firms SASS platform with ongoing technical support. This support includes responding to customer issues, providing updated software that solves bug issues, and working with the customer service team.

**Backend Developer responsibilities:**

● Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
● Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance efficient
applications.

● Integration of data storage solutions

**Backend Developer Requirements:**
● Expert in Python, with knowledge of Django Web Framework.
● Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
● Working knowledge of MySQL.
● Fair understanding of building RESTful APIs.
● Bonus points for Celery, RabbitMQ.
● Worked with Django application deployment on AWS.
● Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
● Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
● Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers,
and environments.
● Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
● Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
● Strong unit test and debugging skills.
● Proficient understanding of Git.

- Profound knowledge about state-of-the-art technologies and standards (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, AJAX, JQuery, XML, and Linux) 

Experience with web services and Various frameworks (CakePHP, Symfony, ZEND, Laravel, etc) -

Capability to create an extension or module.

- Strong knowledge of Core PHP Skills & object-oriented programming (OOP) Has knowledge of any one of Git, BitBucket, SVN, etc. code management repositories.
