JOB OVERVIEW Frontend engineers are an essential part of Epilen's product team. Working closely with designers, we implement the user interface of our web app. We build libraries and abstractions to make our life easier. We make the most of modern tools like React, and we ensure our UIs work well on all screens. We are looking for people who specializes in CSS, front-end infrastructure and JavaScript. We expect you to collaborate with designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our product, work with Backend engineers to build features and ship experiments. PROFILES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO US: A Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or related field (Academic Qualification is not our priority, selection criteria is purely based upon your knowledge on the subject & attitude to thrive in a start-up environment); Expert knowledge of JavaScript; Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling; Familiarity with server-side MVC web frameworks; Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies; Strong Computer Science fundamentals; Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations; Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities; Be open to receiving feedback and creating a culture of constructive criticism; Ability to work in areas outside of their usual comfort zone and get things done quickly; Willing travel to our partnered hospital/clinic locations to co-develop products; An inherent generosity, strong intellectual curiosity, and hustle; Have shipped product; Previous startup experience is a plus.
