React.js Developer

2-3 years of experience with ReactJS

• Will be an added advantage to have experience with Ruby AND even better to have

experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CoffeeScript, React, Node JS, EmberJS and jQuery

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN

• Have a background in functional composition of web pages using HTML / CSS, and

turning a wireframe design into a well-formatted, user-friendly responsive web page

• Follow best practices like continuous integration, Agile methodology, refactoring and code

standards.

• Good knowledge of schema less databases such as Elasticsearch, Redis as well as

Relational Databases such as PostgreSQL

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

• Excellent problem solving skills and bringing in new, innovative ideas to the table to make

the platform more productive

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience in GraphQL
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

Skill Requirements:

1. Full-stack experience designing and building scalable applications end-to-end.
2. Excellent JavaScript skills and strong proficiency in React.
3. Familiarity with the MERN stacks (Mongo DB, Express.JS, React.JS, and Node.JS)
and Working experience with React, Redux, ES6.
4. Experience building backend APIs using Node JS and Express JS.
5. Experience with NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB, mongoose, aggregation
framework, and Redis.
6. Experience with Web sockets and related frameworks (e.g. Socket.IO) and
Knowledge of JSON Web Token.

• Design and code features for the website application as per the specifications provided by the Product and Design teams.
• Ship features in fast-moving agile sprints.
• Work closely with Backend, Product Design, and Product Management teams to brainstorm and chalk out details of features.
• Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion

Must have:

• Good understanding of Javascript and Clean architecture.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, callback, and closures.
• Strong experience with Javascript frontend framework/libraries like ReactJS
• Understanding of stateless application
• Good knowledge of CSS and its pre-processors like SASS/LESS
• Good understanding of server-side templates.
• Experience with creating cross-browser compatible web apps
• Should be Strong in MySql / Postgres database.
• Stronghold in Data structure and processing JSON
