Job Description| Sr. Dot.Net Developer-

Purpose of the role:

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. We are looking for a

.Net developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. If you are also passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Should have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET MVC, Core, ASP

.NET and SQL Server.

• Should have expertise in C# programming.

• Should have strong UI and MVC knowledge.

• Should be proficient in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

• Should be familiar with at least one frontend framework like bootstrap, Telerik etc.

• Should have experience in Agile software development/Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

• In addition, with the knowledge of Angular.

• Experience working in agile development environment.

• Experience developing web-based applications in C#, HTML, JavaScript, or .NET.

• Should have experience in ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE, Design Patterns, SQL Server.

• Experience working with MS SQL Server and MySQL Knowledge of practices and procedures for full software design life cycle.

• In addition, with the knowledge of Razor pages / Dynamic CRM.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering or Computer Application.

• Diploma/Course in Computer Application.

• Hand-on experience in ASP.NET, MVC, Design Patterns, SQL Server or relevant experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with product, design and development team to achieve high cohesion across features and;
• Feasibility analysis of the technical requirements and web designs;
• You will be responsible to develop and contribute towards consumer-facing web application;
• Writing modular code to achieve loose coupling and reusability of modules across application;
• Architecting, prototyping and implementing high-impact modules for our end users;
• UI/UX.

Requirements:

• High Proficiency in frontend technologies like Angular, React JS, Vue.Js Redux etc.;
• Good design skills and knowledge and experience working with UI design patterns and frameworks;
• Good understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
• 3-5 years of strong hands-on experience in Angular and React.

Requirements:

• Ability to reuse components
• Proven experience in working with Git and Github 
• Creating and consuming a RESTful API
• You must have clear concepts of client-server architecture
• Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) design patterns
• Understanding of OOP concepts

Furthermore, the candidate must have built or published any web app or project through which they can demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the aforementioned technologies and requirements.

At Kafqa, we are building the next generation performing arts platform. Our mission is to transform how India learns, performs & watchers performing arts. We are currently in stealth mode with a target public launch date in April. Our launch services consist of technology enabled dance classes in our proprietary studios, production facilities and social media broadcasting & competitions.

Founder & Team

The founder is Shariq Plasticwala. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay & Stanford GSB. He was part of the founding team of Amazon India where he played a key role for over 8 years. Among his roles at Amazon, he was the CEO of Amazon’s first joint venture in India and a Board Member of Amazon’s payments business. The other members of the founding team consist of senior executives from Shiamak Davar & Byju’s.

Role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend engineer with ReactJS development experience to join our team.
Here’s are some of the things you might have to do on any given day:

• Implement responsive and performant UIs with user centered approach with frontend technologies including ReactJS, Javascript(ES 6), Typescript, SCSS, etc
• Write meaningful test cases for frontend &amp
• Develop Infrastructure for delivering services using a performance driven approach, build databases, schedule automated jobs, etc

Ideal Background / Experience

• At least 12 months of diverse experience in web development for product or services oriented environment with exposure to working production deployments
• Expertise in programming using Python/ReactJS or similar scripting languages
• In-depth exposure to technologies used in web-based SaaS products, including REST APIs
• Sound understanding of Postgres and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

Nice to have exposure to any of

• AWS
• Azure
• ELK
• Object Relational Models (SQLAlchemy, etc)
• Google APIs
• Microservices Architecture Pattern
• NodeJS / ExpressJS

Requirements:

 You have designed, refactored, re-architected, deprecated and/or implemented a webapp from start to finish.

 CSS and its pre-processors like SASS/LESS.

 Excellent command over web fundamentals

 Good understanding and experience in building a React app.

 Exceptional coding skills in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/ES6

 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

 Familiarity with benchmarking and optimization techniques

 Eye for animation and understanding of motion principles.

 Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM methodologies

 Experience in DevOps - AWS, S3, API Gateway, CI/CD

 Native development experience in React Native (Android and iOS)

 Experience in NodeJs

Additional Full-stack Skills Would Be a Huge Bonus:

 Experience with Mongo DB, Redis, Firebase, NodeJs and its framework/ libraries like Express.

 Experience with PostgreSQL.

 Experience in NoSQL (CouchDB, Cloudant, MongoDB) datastores.

 Experience in building (secure) RESTful services and MVC patterns.

 Experience in coding & hosting on GitHub.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience with any particular front-end stack like React or equivalent frameworks
• Front-End experience with and without frameworks
