We are currently in stealth mode with a target public launch date in April. Our launch services consist of technology enabled dance classes in our proprietary studios, production facilities and social media broadcasting & competitions.

Founder & Team

The founder is Shariq Plasticwala. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay & Stanford GSB. He was part of the founding team of Amazon India where he played a key role for over 8 years. Among his roles at Amazon, he was the CEO of Amazon’s first joint venture in India and a Board Member of Amazon’s payments business. The other members of the founding team consist of senior executives from Shiamak Davar & Byju’s.

Role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend engineer with ReactJS development experience to join our team.
Here’s are some of the things you might have to do on any given day:

• Implement responsive and performant UIs with user centered approach with frontend technologies including ReactJS, Javascript(ES 6), Typescript, SCSS, etc
• Write meaningful test cases for frontend &amp
• Develop Infrastructure for delivering services using a performance driven approach, build databases, schedule automated jobs, etc

Ideal Background / Experience

• At least 12 months of diverse experience in web development for product or services oriented environment with exposure to working production deployments
• Expertise in programming using Python/ReactJS or similar scripting languages
• In-depth exposure to technologies used in web-based SaaS products, including REST APIs
• Sound understanding of Postgres and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

Nice to have exposure to any of

• AWS
• Azure
• ELK
• Object Relational Models (SQLAlchemy, etc)
• Google APIs
• Microservices Architecture Pattern

Peacock Engineering’s Technical Services team is now looking for an experienced UI / Front End Developer who is proficient with React.js (16.8+) to join our international team of developers delivering innovative solutions to our major UK-based customers.

Your primary focus will be working on new user interface components which are modern, secure, performant, and easy to maintain - following well-known React.js workflows and recognised best practices.

You will coordinate with the rest of our multi-disciplined team working together on different layers of the solution architecture.  A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and delivering a high-quality product is essential.

• Developing new user-facing features for our clients using React.js
• Translating functional requirements (User Stories/Tasks) and wireframes into high quality code with tests
• Working with architects, developers, and QA engineers to ensure that your work is testable, meets industry security standards and is written to deliver good performance/scalability.
• Perform application and solution development to meet project requirements.
• Develop and document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements.
• Manage multiple technical environments and support the development and testing processes.

Experience working with the IBM Maximo software product within the following capacities:

• Tech. in Computer Science, Engineering or Business-related field and/or equivalent work experience.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Minimum five (5) years of work experience in React application development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Demonstrable expertise in software development in an Agile setting
• Ability to deliver well-tested code consistently in an Agile, CI/CD environment
• Experience with JavaScript Testing frameworks and principles (Jest preferable)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authentication/authorization mechanisms
• Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps preferable)

About the role

Quantela is seeking UI Architect who is proficient in design and development of web based front end applications for enterprises.

Qualifications:

• Should have sound understanding of Object-Oriented JavaScript & Typescript concepts and Debugging skills.
• Should have strong Implementation & architectural design skill of BOTH client-side and Server-side NodeJS/JavaScript (and related frameworks) based application
• Should build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Should have working experience on Angular (Preferably at least 3+ year experience in Angular 5 and above versions), HTML5, CSS3.
• Should be able to recommend appropriate UI frameworks and controls, design and develop web applications based upon a set of requirements
• Responsible for setting coding standards using best practices/principles and ensuring its adherence
• Good understanding of UI best practices, RESTful services, Accessibility WCAG 2.0, etc.
• Should be able to understand security models like OWASP standards
• The selected candidate should be an evangelist, self-driven, visionary leader and mentor
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skill and a positive attitude
• Should preferably have product development experience.

Ideal Candidate should have:
