Responsibilities : · Create comprehensive test plans with well defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specifications documents. · Execute software testing to include functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing. · Record and maintain automated test script libraries for functional regression testing for assigned applications; maintain and improve existing automated tests, and adding new ones as appropriate. · Document software defects in an issues tracking system and proactively communicate issues with developers and other project team members. · Participate in business requirements and functional specifications reviews early in the software development life cycle process. · Ensure the timeline for quality assurance and testing is optimized. Minimum Requirements : · BE / B.Tech / BCA / ME / M.Tech / MCA degree. · 4+ years working experience in Manual and Automation testing. · Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. · Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Desirable Skills : · Mentoring and training the juniors · ISTQB certifications · Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting · Experience with performance, load testing, and security testing · Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing · Experience working in continuous integration and the continuous delivery environment. · Happy go lucky attitude!
