Job Title: Senior Manager of Learning Design - EdTech

Job Overview: The Senior Manager of Learning Design will lead our efforts to innovate and enhance educational programs, ensuring alignment with the latest in educational technology and industry standards. This role is pivotal in managing the development of high-quality learning materials and courses, engaging with senior stakeholders, and overseeing a team of instructional designers and SMEs.

Responsibilities:

● Spearhead the design and development of educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners and align with technological advancements.

● Maintain and enhance relationships with senior stakeholders and universities to ensure collaboration and alignment of educational goals.

● Oversee the instructional design team, ensuring all learning materials are of the highest quality and delivered on schedule.

● Conduct continuous research on new educational trends and integrate findings into program development to keep our offerings at the forefront of the industry.

● Manage the execution of educational projects from conception through to delivery, including stakeholder management and alignment of educational outcomes with business goals.

Professional Skills:

● Advanced Instructional Design: Expertise in creating and managing comprehensive educational content for varied audiences, utilizing modern instructional theories and technologies.

● Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to oversee educational projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with broader educational and business objectives.

● Strategic Planning: Ability to develop strategic plans for the educational development of both internal and external courses, ensuring they meet market needs and organizational goals.

● Leadership and Team Development: Experience in leading instructional design teams, providing guidance, and fostering professional growth to meet and exceed project demands.

● Technical skills: Experience in developing IT courses and a basic understanding of domains like cloud, AI, GenAI, coding, etc. is mandatory

Desired Skills and Experience:

● Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, especially in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

● Professional Experience: At least 10-12 years in educational technology or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing instructional design teams.

● Educational Mastery: Demonstrated success in developing scalable and effective educational programs, with a keen insight into learning analytics and user feedback to refine course offerings.

● Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience in managing relationships with senior educational stakeholders and ensuring the educational goals are aligned with organizational strategies

The candidates should have:

·  Strong knowledge on Windows and Linux OS

·   Experience working in Version Control Systems like git

·  Hands-on experience in tools Docker, SonarQube, Ansible, Kubernetes, ELK.

·  Basic understanding of SQL commands

·  Experience working on Azure Cloud DevOps

• Hands-on experience with React Native (2+ years).
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Integrating backend REST APIs
• Passion about complex, interactive applications with a thoughtful UX/UI.
• Should be able to understand project requirements thoroughly.
• A deep understanding of the importance of building maintainable, efficient, clean code, while balancing the urgency of business needs.
• Collaborative attitude and experience working with cross-functional teams.

• Responsible for driving & delivering cross-platform mobile applications.
• Responsible for architecting, solutioning of the project in the requirement phase;
• Responsible for working with the team & enhancing the collaboration, adding value to the project with critical thinking on project design.
• Responsible for integrating the REST APIs

Responsibilities:

• Produce scalable software solutions.
• Responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
• Handle both front-end and back-end coding, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
• Participate in our product development from ideation to deployment and beyond
• Create ground-breaking new features for our users and customers, and for internal use
• Work with our data team to make our product smarter and more intuitive to use
• Maintain and help optimize existing systems

Requirements:

• A professional experience of more than 4 years.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude and a personal commitment.
• Experience in basic system design and architecture.
• Solid background in CorePHP, Laravel, MySQL, JS, jQuery, HTML5 CSS3, AngularJS/ReactJS/VueJS.
• Well versed in using Git, NPM, and Grunt for managing project code.
• Experience in JS libraries including Data tables and VideoJS.
• Experience in working with REST APIs, OAuth etc.
• Well versed with cross browser development fundamentals
• Knowledge of LEMP Stack is a plus
• Experience in building dashboards is a plus.
• Experience in working on scalable systems is a plus.
