Job Description: Senior Python Developer (Document Automation)

Experience: 5+ Years

Professional Summary

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with 5+ years of experience for a contract-based role in Pune. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend systems and specialized experience in document generation and manipulation using Python libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
• Implement automated document generation workflows (DOCX, PDF, etc.).
• Design and optimize data extraction and document manipulation modules.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend applications.
• Collaborate with the team to define and implement API integrations.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Python-docx for creating and updating .docx files.
• Proficiency in document processing libraries (e.g., PyPDF2, ReportLab, or Pandas for data export).
• Strong knowledge of Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Experience with XML and template-based document generation.
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Person should have strong knowledge in -

1. Core Java,

2. JSP

3. Spring Framework,

4. Spring Boot,

5. SOAP and REST Webservices

6. Application Security.

Person should have 4 to 6 Years of work experience in Java and above-mentioned related technology.

Person should have good Oracle Database knowledge and have good communication skills.

Having work experience in BFSI domain will added advantage

) 2+yrs of strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies (Core Java, Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, 

JPA, Microservices)  

*) Experience with working on Java 8.0 and its emerging road map for 11  

*) Hands on experience in Springboot and good knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB  

*) Hands on experience in working with Angular 6 and above. Experience working with product 

management and UI/UX designers having knowledge of advanced Javascript, JQuery  

*) Working knowledge on components, modules, data/event bindings, templates, using and creating 

directives, writing routes, services, forms and models  

*) Solid understanding of the full frontend and backend development life cycle  

*) Strong experience in Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring security, Spring data, OAuth)  

*) Experience with Webservices (SOAP and REST) and API integration. Good knowledge of JSON and 

Swagger and Postman is required  

*) Experience with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss. Knowledge of Kafka with MQTT 

would be an added advantage  

*) Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit  

*) Experience in managing configurations and deploying and hosting applications in AWS  

*) Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Maven, SourceTree, Jenkins, Docker and CICD model of 

development   

• Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing web-based, E-Commerce applications on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Experience in working with ISML, Pipelines, Pipelets, JS-Controllers, Digital Scripts, 
• B2C Commerce API.
• Knowledge on SGJC is must and SFRA is an added advantage.
• Experience in working with Forms, Service and Job / Integration frameworks. 
• Experience in working with REST and SOAP webservices.
• Experience in integrating with third party LINK cartridges like Payment, Tax, Analytics, Ratings & Reviews etc. along with developing custom cartridges.
• Good understanding on SFCC Business Manager Configurations.
• SFCC Developer certification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on build and deployment.
• Knowledge on Source Control Management System like GitHub/BitBucket.

Requirements:

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has-

• BE/BTech degree in Computer Science from a top engineering school
• 1-5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong problem solving skills and strong command on object oriented design, data structures, algorithms and other computer science fundamentals.
• Strong coding skills - professional experience in developing production-quality software in Java/Python
• Expertise in Web Services, Service-oriented architecture, Databases, NoSQL, Distributed systems, Cloud Technologies.
