Project Manager

NVS Travel Solutions is an 19 year old transport company that caters to over 30+ schools and corporations which include thousands of employees and parents resulting in over 20000+ users. We are looking for an accounts assistant with 1-3 years of experience and a degree in B.Com, CA Inter or MBA Finance.

Job Responsibilities (Key Responsibility Areas) :

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Recording day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software Tally.
• Handling purchase, sales, receipt and payment entries.
• Bank reconciliation and vendor reconciliation monthly.
• Maintaining accounts payable and receivable.
• Supporting month-end closing and preparation of MIS reports.
• Supporting Internal Auditor

2. GST Compliance

• Preparation & filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation.
• Reconciliation of GST between Books vs GST Portal vs Supplier Invoices.
• Handling Input Tax Credit (ITC) mismatch, RCM accounting & adjustments.
• Preparing data for GST Annual Return (GSTR-9 & 9C).

3. TDS Compliance

• Deduction and accounting of TDS on applicable payments (contract, rent,
• professional etc.).
• Preparation & filing of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q).
• Generating & issuing TDS certificates (Form 16 & 16A). Managing TDS payment within due date and rectifying defaults on TRACES.

4. Support Internal & External Audit

• Preparing audit schedules, ledger scrutiny, and providing required supporting
• documents.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory norms and company policies.
• Resolving audit queries and maintaining accurate audit documentation.

5. Documents & Coordination

• Coordination with vendors & internal departments for invoice queries.
• Maintaining supporting documentation and records for audits.
• Assisting in statutory audits, internal audits and tax assessments.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS Act & accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Table).
• Experience working on Tally Prime / ERP accounting software.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of Income Tax Basics (preferred).
• Experience in vendor ledger reconciliation & accounts finalization support.
• Willingness to learn and grow in taxation & accounts domain.

Salary Range - ₹30L – ₹40L

As a Power BI and QlikView Developer, we expect the candidate to be a key contributor in the implementation of data analytics dashboards – from data preparation to dashboard development, unit testing and deployment. The primary work focus for the candidate is as under: 

• Understanding the database design. 

• Develop efficient SQL queries from simple to complex and test the data output as a part of data preparation activity 

• Development & Unit Testing – Dashboards & Data Visualizations using Power BI 

• Troubleshooting/debugging and rectifying issues 

• Review, feedback and mentoring the team 

• Adherence of standards and best practices as defined by the company at the individual level and as a team 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Degree in BE/ BTech with at least 3 to 5 years of overall experience 

• Experience in working on multiple databases like MS SQL (Mandatory), PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, MySQL (would be a plus) etc. and data analytics projects (a minimum of 2 to 3).  

• Experience working on SQL Server: Writing queries of 1 to 2 years is mandatory.  

• Expertise in Power BI and knowledge of QlikView (1-2 years). 

• Understanding other tools like Tableau, Domo etc. would be a great plus 

• Experience in working on different types of visualizations, in addition to the generic ones – Scatter plots, Heat Maps, Geo maps, Gantt, Bubbles, Tree Maps etc. 

• Experience working on Trends, forecasting etc. would be a plus 

• Experience in working with projects teams and ensuring the successful delivery of the solution

• Must have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Python/Node.JS/Typescript
• At least 2+ years as back-end software developer
• A deep understanding of the benefits of the Microservice and serverless paradigms
• Prepared technical documentation, and understand why it’s important
• Understanding of database principals: SQL and NoSQL
• Collaboration and communication skills (you’ll be working with clients and internal teams)
• An understanding of programming fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
• Familiarity and comfort with REST API, Postman
• The ability to work independently or within a team structure.
