Your job: • Develop and maintain software components, including APIs and microservices

• Optimize backend systems on Microsoft Azure using App Services, Functions, and AzureSQL

• Contribute to frontend development as needed in a full-stack capacity

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and bug fixing to ensure high code quality

• Collaborate with the development team, product owner, and DevOps team in agile projects

• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all feature and APIs

Your qualification:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science

• 5 to 8yearsofexperienceinbackendwebapplicationdevelopment

• Expertise in backend technologies such as C#/.NET Core and in databases, including SQL and NoSQL (AzureSQL, Cosmos DB)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, SQL) and familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript and/ or Angular) would be an added advantage

• Proficiency in cloud-based backend development, full-stack development, and software optimization

• Experience with agile methodologies, unit testing, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines would be beneficial

• Excellent written and spoken English communications kills

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- At least 7 years of experience in back-end development, specifically with Node.js.

- Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript would be a plus.

- Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

- Proficient in working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).

- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

- Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure Cloud) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in Java-J2EE Development
• Hands-on experience in Struts (Core Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB) framework.

• Should have worked on application servers like IBM WAS / Jboss / Web logic.
• Knowledge of basic Linux commands and BIRT reporting tool is an added advantage.

• Degree in Computer Science (BS/MS), related technical field or equivalent practical experience

• Must own a specific component of the product. Gathering requirements by working with product management. Working closely with development managers in defining external product interfaces
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must articulate various design approaches and design decisions clearly - within the team and across the teams.
• Must work with QA engineers to devise proper test constructs - unit testing and integration tests.

Job Description:

1. Experienced in developing .NET Core, http://asp.net/" target="_blank">ASP.NET MVC, Web applications, WEB /REST APIs with C# Language.
2. Proficient in OOP and design Skilled in the use of Structured Query Language (SQL) as a tool for retrieving, updating, inserting, deleting, manipulating, and managing data stored in enterprise databases.
3. Strong knowledge of Database concepts and Relational Database Management Systems such as Microsoft SQL.
4. Work closely with the other team members to meet the goals.
5. Work with Quality Analysts to ensure changes are thoroughly tested before release.
6. Communicating project status and timelines to business stakeholders and IT management.

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop well-designed performant and scalable applications and microservices
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code aligning to software development best practices
• Integrate data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Build integrations with 3rd party applications through apis’ to ingest and process data
• Develop state-of-the-art analytics tools to support diverse tasks ranging from ad hoc analysis to production-grade pipelines and workflows for customer applications
• Ensure security and data protection aspects within the applications
• Partner with Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers to improve the performance and reliability of advanced algorithms
• Ensure high performance and availability of distributed systems and applications
• Interact directly with client project team members and operational staff to support live customer deployments and production issues

• 4+ years of experience in developing applications using python and related technologies.
• Familiarity in data ingestion and processing libraries in python.
• Thorough understanding of REST and GRPC technologies.
• Experience in using ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries for data access.
• Experiencing in developing and hosting APIs and integration with external applications.
