Role Summary:

Vyapar's Engineering team builds the technology platform that eases and digitizes our customers' bookkeeping and enables the transition of cumbersome accounting data from general bookkeeping to a digitized always available resource.

The Javascript engineer will be responsible for the developing features in Vyapar application. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive design, JQuery, React, database etc. concepts is critical

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Use of complex algorithm to build the business requirements.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Must have

• Strong JavaScript
• HTML, CSS 
• React/Angular/JQuery/Vue
• Problem-solving skills, and Data Structures.
• Strong knowledge of SQL database or RDBMS.

Good to have

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of Web UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage and performance tuning.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in JavaScript
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HTML, CSS
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL/ RDBMS.

Education:

• A full-time B.E/ B.Tech Degree from a recognized university.

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
• Possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Identifying key user groups and creating representative personas of their behaviors and demographics.
• Conduct testing of applications, and websites to Assess user experience
• Your code should be browser independent and compatible with all screen resolutions (Responsive Design Coding)
• Your code should perform well on both the screen sizes of both web and mobile both.
• You are responsible for keeping yourself updated with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies.
• Must be able to see opportunities for improvement, take ownership and closely work with the development team to drive product improvement

• UX design experience in creating and implementing UI design
• Must have 2-3 years of experience and be well versed with Figma
• Expertise in standard UX software tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision, Figma, Balsamiq, or any other UI/UX latest tool
• Strong command on technologies Adobe Photoshop, HTML/ XHTML/ HTML5, CSS/CSS3 , JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS
• CSS Frameworks Bootstrap3x/4x, Foundation (For Responsive Development), 960 Grid System
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• 2 years of experience with web and mobile designing

1. Expertise in building AWS Data Engineering pipelines with AWS Glue -> Athena -> Quick sight
2. Experience in developing lambda functions with AWS Lambda
3. Expertise with Spark/PySpark – Candidate should be hands on with PySpark code and should be able to do transformations with Spark

• In-depth experience configuring database replication on multiple versions
• Strong experience in Monitoring, DB Performance Tuning, DB Availability, DR, Security, Storage
• Analyzes and provides recommendations to optimize the database for improved performance, manageability, and scalability
• Expertise in enterprise backups, recovery, and performing point-in-time recovery Experience in deploying and integrating PM tools
• Experience in data partitioning and encryption
• Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL and MongoDB
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements and Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler
• Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
